Probably too soon for Kelly to start this game but would love to see him get the nod.

Bernardo will obviously start but I feel him and O’Reilly are too alike, need a bit more pace in there. We are well overdue to the give these diet * a hammering, revenge for December please.

It is, but looked very comfortable midweek. Think you are right and it'll be Bernardo.

This is another must win game and no-one should take note of their result against the huns last week as we know they don't try a leg against them but will try like * against us. Our players really need to be up for it from the start. Once again, any win will do

With McGregor out injured I can’t see anything other than this line up being selected.

Strong team, I know bernardo are very similar and lack pace but I do like them together at times. Like Bernardo a lot, I think they’ll be good with Iwata behind and players moving more off the ball for them

Hopefully Cal is at least fit enough for the bench. Even if only to show he won’t be out for weeks.

Just leave him out, give him the time to recover. The fit enough for the bench but not to play, when it’s an injury and not coming back building up fitness I * hate. When they come on, I feel usually they make * worse and are out for weeks after.

Don’t risk many games for the one. We done it start of the season with CCV, and it’s * about 8 months I think. I think the other times he returned we tried to do it properly but that first time, we rushed it, and its had a major effect.

if he’s injured, trust in the others to cover that for a game or two. Would much rather he’d be available and fit, but I do find * like this interesting for the rest of the team, because you see who else stands up to lead. I’d say GT, AJ and CCV are absolute certs to do that

I agree if he’s feeling something then don’t play him but I would like to see him in the squad, because it would be an indication he’s fine and will be back in action very soon

I’d have him travelling, on the bus, in the dressing room etc but if he’s not fit enough then don’t waste a spot on the bench. I’m sure they’re allowed to sit there like the staff do if we want him in amongst it.

But on the bench, I can imagine the game being tight, and the temptation to say can you do 20 minutes we need you out there, him saying aye, and then we don’t have him rest of the season. Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve done that. Infact wouldn’t be the first Rodgers has done that at us

Yeah I get you mate. It’s a tough one because it’s such a vital game where the likelihood we would turn to him on the bench is pretty high.

Might just be cos it sticks in my memory but I feel like most times we take a chance with that sorta *, it comes back to * us and goes as wrong as possible. But you see teams all over the world every week doing that sort of stuff, and it works.

Unless it’s Scott Brown, Big McManus or Neil Lennon we done it with, we just started them regardless of injuries sometimes, and they just kept playing. Old school Scottish tough player daft that.

I can remember WGS having an interview saying the foreign guys as soon as they were injured, made sure they got it taken care of and didn’t risk making it worse. Back then I judged them as *, funny that I’m absolutely on that being the thing we need to happen. Our recurring injuries this year I think is partly down to toughing it out and seeing if they will play, when not being ready. Welsh 100% we have done it to multiple times

Tierney basically sacrificed his entire career for us. Luckily for him Arsenal took the punt on him because at the time, due to his injuries, I thought we did very well to get that money for him. He’s still doing ok but if we had taken care of him he would possibly be the best left back in world football right now

That there is why I hold onto resentment for BR. Because there’s no way in * he didn’t know the data on risks and damGe being caused through the medical and sports science guys. And he done it anyway.

Also done the same with Rogic btw, gave injections so he could play the likes of Dundee (6-0 scudding Calmac’s first game as a 6 if I remember right infact) and a few more times after that, and Rogic was a guy who’s fitness was finely balanced that Rodgers had managed extremely well and got him fitter than he’d ever been before.

He knew, he had one foot out the door already, and he didn’t care what harm it’d cause he’d be away by then and doing it kept his reputation high enough to get his ticket to a cracking opportunity In Leicester down there.

i don’t care about he left, and the timing etc. find it more than understandable we * him about and he was done. Was done before he eventually jumped. I get that, I get why, I don’t really disagree outwith I’m a Celtic fan and didn’t like it out of pure reflex. But the stuff with KT and Rogic? Nah, that will always be lurking in my mind when I think of him.

Then Lenny came along and made * worse for Tierney, cos Tierney’s a ‘tough lad, runs through walls for Celtic’ and asked him to play when he could barely move. Against the Huns, he barely could get over the halfway line, and that was out of order. Always said no wonder he left, fans talking bout his loyalty, where was ours to his health, wellbeing and his career.?

Edit: big rant that, touches a nerve tgat subject apparently:56:

To be fair Ange did the same last season with CCV, injections until the semi final. AJ returned earlier than he should have too, to play Inverness. Managers in general are pretty cut throat as they have no intention on being here the long term.

Ffs I had no idea about McGregor.

If that's the case it's obviously a toss up between Kelly and Bernardo.

Bernardo is the one who will no doubt start but I would've preferred Kelly tbh. I think it's times like this where you can really make a name for yourself.

I don’t think it’s a toss up mate. I think it’s 100% Bernardo. He’s played a good few games for Benfica, he’s a Portugal u21 international starter and he’s performed for us in the champions league.
