Rodgers has his players mixed up. Bernardo is not a true attacking player. Just a central midfielder.

Taking more pops at the fans, why cant he just answer his questions without shoehorning negativity into his answers? Hes told the fans to back him and the players yet hes constantly coming at the fans in interviews, taking issue with booing the sub on Sunday fair does you ended up winning the game but hes also taken issue with booing in previous games when we have been poor and when we have dropped points, if you want everyone to get behind you then stop with this pish in your interviews.

Also I think complaining about booing in these circumstances is quite ridiculous. He alone is paid more than the entire playing budget of some of these team.

Maybe it's just me but if I was a manager or a player consistently underperforming like that despite the advantages I have and the salary I am taking home, the last thing on my mind would be the booing of the punters paying my extraordinary wages.

I get where he's coming from, he did get the subs right, but it should never have got to that point. If he'd done his job right, he wouldn't be needing to change things up to save the game.

What always confuses me as well is that Rodgers is I think genuinely very good at reading a game and adapting to it, but he sets up the same way every week when it's clearly not working. It surely can't be *-mindedness at this stage, there's too much on the line.

I dont have an issue with Brendan saying "good girl" if he was trying to wind her up, if it was a bit of banter after she tried to needle him during the interview.

But any * that goes around saying "good girl" and "good boy" to anyone over 18 years of age in a serious way can * off with that *.

Unfortunately that line has been used so many times this season. Again Sunday especially the first half was an absolute riddy.. the fans have every right to let BR and the team know..I honestly can't remember a season littered with so many * performances.

I'd even go as far as saying we are lucky to still be in touching distance of the filth

I think both things can be said.

    1. The fans were absolutely moronic for booing, given he was bringing on a more attack minded player for a defensive midfielder so we could win the game.

    2. It's a bit silly to bring it up. I know he's under pressure, and rightfully so. We haven't been good enough and he has to take the brunt of that. He's made a decision/sub that has worked and won us the game and the fans look very silly. However, for the sake of unity, having a wee go at the fanbase, regardless of how moronic they are, doesn't help build that togetherness he wants to create. The club is fractured at the minute, with clear divisions between manager and recruitment, players and fans, fans and board... it's a bit of a mess at the minute. He should have moved on. It's like he needed to get his wee dig in there and that's why he's not going to be ever welcomed back fully, regardless of whether or not we win the league.

The 'booing the substitution' thing is being taken the wrong way.

The supporters weren't being moronic. They didn't suddenly misunderstand the difference between defensively minded players and attack minded players. The logic of the substitution wasn't completely lost on anyone to the point of triggering 'boos'.

The booing was a show of support for Iwata's involvement, who has been overlooked many times this season, and frustration aimed at Rodgers for overlooking him while also doing a * awful job this season.

Bizarre though it may seem, this is how bad he has been doing his job. It's got nothing to do with supporter intelligence.

I'm sorry but I was there and no one booing was commenting on how Iwata has been underused this season, while he was being subbed off. "He's been our best player and the useless * takes him off"... was something I heard from someone and I can guarantee that was the general consensus.

I also think that showing your support for one player, while booing as they come off is weird behaviour. I get it, you don't want Rodgers as manager, you never have done and nothing will change your mind on that. Let's not start being silly by throwing in comments like "the fans were booing as a show of support for Iwata"... they absolutely weren't and you know they weren't.

If he takes us to the title it will be some achievement given the lead he lost and the * way he has the team playing. Oddly I think he may just do it despite all the evidence. Regardless I want a new manager next season.
