Think he says "good man" with male journos, mate. The fact that it's "girl" rather than "woman" is a speech pattern thing IMHO and "good woman" can also be quite sexist depending on the intention.

I'm not trying to be cute when I say I don't know if he was being sexist or not; I can genuinely both imagine that he was meant it in a sexist way and that he meant it in a similar way to Ange's "mate". I honestly think only he knows.

I totally agree about it not being high on the list of worries.

This was my take from it. Quite a reach to say it was anything other than condescending. She is trying to press him after he repeatedly states that he doesnt want to elaborate.

A few should move on, theres nothing more to see here.

 

He wasnt being sexist. The reporter was digging and got told and was left in no doubt what they're place was. In fact he was being the exact opposite of sexist because he didnt do anything different based on the fact that she was a woman. He treated her with equal respect as he would do a man. Zero sexism going on there in my opinion

 

Not sure what you mean by this country, but I was born in Clydebank , but I've never thought of myself as british. The * with the aprons and the bowler hats might be british but not me.

 

Dont think his comments were that big a deal to be honest. Both grown ups. Not sure if it's ever a good look for a manager to lose composure during an interview but may well get a positive reaction from the players if he can create a siege mentality.

But if he loses the league and Jane Lewis was to throw a little "hard lines little boy" back his way I would doff my cap to her. If you're going to be a bit of a condescending * you need to make sure youre successful!

ok.......we are not delving in to this debate. I would suggest that right now is not the time or place. You really need to look in the mirror before you start saying that * but believe me. We had to have snipers on Aiden's Tower because of folk with that head on them. Less said the better
