Fair play to him - he made the pivotal change early and got Adam Idah on.

Idah looks to be more in the mould of an Edouard/Dembele - all have varying strengths but ultimately give us a focal point by being able to hold and turn. Striker is important to a Rodgers team

I’ve not been impressed with Kyogo for a while. If he’s not making runs or pressing then he doesn’t offer very much. I don’t think that’s totally due to the way we play - personally I don’t think he is finding the space the same way he used to. Likewise, he’s not good enough technically to come deep like Edouard. Been a bit of an empty jersey all season.

The team that ended the game has to be it moving forward.

I'd probably swap scales out for Welsh now. The second half bought him more time and he influenced it with changes BUT its worrying how poor we were first half again and it took going a goal down for a reaction.

Have to see that performance from the get go and finish sides.

He says we did too many long passes in the first half- *? We did too few. Crosses and long punts are what Adam needs. And even Kyogo needs a long ball to run after.

"The story is already written about the season and how it's going to finish, but we will write our own story."

I like this from the manager. Nice touch - it’s effective and succinct.

Some Celtic folk don’t understand the psychological importance of controlling the narrative. The narrative will play a large part in determining who wins the title - it’s human psychology.

Folk need to get behind the team and manager. Eliminate the toxic * for the next 12 games. There’s plenty of time to dissect at the end of May.

Brendan Rodgers shut down a question from the BBC after mentioning the "story written about Celtic" following their win over Motherwell.

The manager was pleased to see his side come out 3-1 winners at Fir Park this afternoon but it was a nervy test for his players who went behind in the first-half. It was Adam Idah who would net a double before Luis Palma sealed the points and Rodgers was satisfied with the victory. The Northern Irishman has mentioned previously how he feels a narrative is being portrayed about his squad and their lack of fight in the title race and he brought the same point up in his post-match interview

But when asked to elaborate, Rodgers was not in any mood to do so. "There's absolutely no doubt (the squad are capable), the key thing for us is to stay together, there's still a long way out," he said. "Even if we draw the game today, four points is not a lot in my experience. I've been five points ahead with three or four games to go so four points would've been nothing.

To get the win was important for us, psychologically, and for our football. It was another game to convince that when we play how we can play then the goals and creativity will be there. So I'm delighted for the players because like I've said, there's a story been written about this group, so we will write our own story."

When BBC reporter Jane Lewis attempted to learn more about Rodgers' cryptic statement, he added: "No, no. You know exactly what I mean. No."

Probed further by Lewis who said: "Can you tell us anymore, you're the one who brought that up so can you not give us some more on it?" But Rodgers had had enough. "Okay, are we done? Well done, cheers

Anyone hear his "good girl" comment to the BBC interviewer post-match? Shocking and misogynistic thing to say. Actually quite strongly dislike him as a person now

Nawrocki also has the pace of Majstorovic. You can get away with that against Motherwell (although there were a few moments that made me nervous); but Miovski showed that it can be punished against teams with quicker strikers. I'd rather play Scales (although Nawrocki is on a different level to Scales with the ball).

Pulling straws here I think, it's maybe a bit rude but misogynistic is a very bold claim. If he did it to all women or the same women repeatedly I'd agree with you.
