Id absolutelly love Denkey to play for us! But think he will go for more then the 10£ though. Rumour has it neighbours Club Brugge want him as replacement for Thiago. Cercle told them for 20m€ he is theirs.

 

Nübel, Bayern keeper on loan at Stuttgart. Has been very strong all season, should cost around 7m€. His salary is huge i believe, but he would be the type of keeper we need. Presense, good with ball at feet, commanding in the box, reflexes.

 

I'd be surprised if they got as much as £20m for him.

They only received £9m for Ueda and he had a similar goal scoring return than Denkey. He's totally failed at Feyenoord so far. Can't see them getting double that for Denkey, albeit he's a completely different sort of striker.

 

Who couldn't we get out of that list?

Denkey and Gronbaek are two very highly thought of players but they're absolutely achievable if we have any sort of ambition in convincing players to come here.

 

Obviously Club will have to pay a neighbour/rivalry bonus. As well they sold Thiago for 37m€. So Cercle know they have the money.

thing is Belgian teams sell for lot of money. Some crazy sums, Cuypers left Gent to chicago for like 12m€, Paintsil to LA for 8,5m€, Fofana 17mil€, Orban 15m€. All players id rate below Denkey this season.

Apparently Porto were sniffing about him as a replacement for Taremi.

 

You're saying the players are unattainable because our recruitment team is poor. That's a fair point but it's a different argument than saying we couldn't sign them for financial reasons or our ability to sell a player a vision of where the club is heading.

Bakker cost Atlanata £8m from Bayer Leverkusen and doesn't get into their team.

He's costing absolutely nowhere near £12m.

 

he’s worth more than that pure and simple we won’t sign any of these lads in that list as much as we should. No starter for me for the simple reason mentioned above we can’t even recruit a LB and been needing one for 2 years

 

You can say "he's worth more than that pure and simple"... it doesn't make it true. Why would he cost more than Atalanta paid for him when he can't get into their team?

For context, I'm saying I think we could get him for around £6m because he hasn't lived up to the billing and he can't get into their team. So, I doubt they recoup the fee they paid for him.
