It's huge the difference he makes. A player like Bair (no disrespect) should not be getting to do what he did to Scales and Nawrocki, CCV comes on and his game is over.

We need another CCV level defender to partner him!

It's actually frightening how far the drop off in quality is when he's not in the team.

As poor as we've been this year, if we had a fit CCV and Starfelt at the back, we'd still be top, probably by 4-5 points.

 

Definitely, Starfelt I actually miss more than Jota. A good CB pairing means 1 nil instead of 1 all. It's obscene how we signed 4 centre backs (Inc loans) in 2 windows and they have all been a bit *. 2 of Scales, Nawrocki and Lagerbielke need to go in the summer and quality signed.

 

Excellent. He's been a huge, huge miss.

 

Just wish he had a decent centre back to play alongside.

 

Cannot be overstated how important the big man is. Genuinely could be the difference in the title race regardless of any other * going on.

 

Gives us a real bit of assuredness at the back, hope the bigg fella can stay fit for rest of the season. Gamechanger if he can.

 

I'm expecting Nawrocki to get a second chance at CBL on Wednesday. Hopefully CCV brings the best out in him.

 

Buzzing to have him back he’s the most important player in the team, if we keep him this summer it will be massive.

 

The drop off from him to every other centre back at the club is monumental.
