What we're needing is pro-activity and positive thinking. We are doing this btw. Ive already decided. We win our games.......we win the league. Its as simple as that. * the media and haters. We will win the league. It wont be a brilliant one to remember for the ages. But we'll win it. Every * on here should remember that I said it....................cause its happening

The last proper full scale title run in I can remember would be about.............cant mind the exact season but the one where Jan Venegoor of Hesilink scored in the last minute against them. I lost my engagement ring and my burner phone when that goal went in. My section of the stadium went ape *. Some guy phoned me the next day who had found ma phone. The engagement ring never came back to me though........................but what happened?? They got beat in the UEFA Cup final.......and Strachan won the league for us at Dundee United and it was an awesome day. That was the year Tommy Burns died. He'll be looking down on us and pushing positive energy. Every one of our fans should do the same

We will do this. We've done title races before.......and we will prove to be the top dogs at it. in Brendan we trust 100%

I'm not talking about playing him instead of CCV or some other top class CB, he was good enough to be the Swedish defender of the year he should be good enough for us.

You're talking about WGS 3IAR season, 2007/08. Think we were something like 7 points behind with 10 games to play.

Bringing in Paul Hartley and Barry Robson in that January window was huge and when they clicked together it really propelled us through that title run-in. That JVOH last min winner was the same game as that Naka screamer from like 35 yards or something, and a couple of weeks later repeated the trick, with Skippy scoring twice in the 3-2 win.

Why should that make him good enough for us, because he done well for another team, in different tactics, in a different league, with different people around him? What part of his play winning that award do you find suits playing with us? From the small bit I’ve seen, highlights only, so all the good bits only passing looked a strength. Games he’s played so far for us though, it looked panicky and hopeful.

It’s irrelevant what he achieved last season with a different team in a different league. Have you been impressed with what he had shown here?

Not even that because he’s barely played enough to get in stride, he hasn’t shown enough to start but he’s probably better than shown so far.

The thing for me though, is from that what we’ve seen of him, what aspects of his game suits the way we play? There’s one huge deficiency alone that rules him out for me - a high line with him is suicidal

We signed Robson in the transfer window. Paul Hartley had signed the season before if I remember right. Our midfield for that season was Scott Brown (signed for £4m from Hibs) and Massimo Donati (signed for £3m from AC Milan). Well it wasnt working out for either of them for different reasons (Scott Brown's sister was very ill at the time and ended up passing away). We brought Robson and Hartley in at Motherwell and we won 4-0 and thats when the tide started to change and we won every game from there to the end of the season......won the league obviously.

We are not even close to that kind of predicament right now. If we win all our games from now to the end of the season then we win the league. Our destiny is in our own hands and every * on here acting like mobile depression units is not going to help manifest this league in our favor. We need positivity and pro-activity and thats it. Everything else is useless at this moment in time. We all know what the failings are. But constantly talking about them and focusing on the negative instead of making a plan to a create a positive outcome is not going to work. There can be no joy found in negative outlook whatsoever. So please everybody stop * moaning and lets do this

Yes I have and would have liked to have seen more of him. But he's obviously told Rodgers what he thinks of him, which is probably what we all think of him.

I'm sorry but that's utter nonsense. Complete garbage.

You're basically saying "bend over and be happy about it".

Fan perspective is EVERYTHING in football. Ignoring, or "forgiving" the current state of our football breeds complacency.
This team need reminding, everytime they * up that it's unacceptable. Same with the Rodgers, same the board, same with that * Desmond.

Why the * do you think those * are on track to win the most lucrative title in Scottish history? You think that Sevco board wanted to sack Beale so quickly? The mutants in the stands forced that change, and it worked. They've now got a competent manager who has them racking up points.

But we're supposed to "get behind the team". Be "proactive".
What "positive plan" are you talking about exactly? Stand outside park head and give the players hugs after they drop more points to spl dross?

Our destiny is NOT in our own hands. It's been been taken out of our hands by a tactically clueless manager, and a board of dinosaurs who don't have a * wit.

Griping, complaining, criticism, raising awareness, making our displeasure heard is how we facilitate change.

We are Celtic football club. We don't do second best. We don't allow complacency. And we certainly don't * keep our mouths shut when we're being shafted from within by incompetence and nepotism.
Same goes for Rodgers and the players. Shape up, or ship the * out.

This is professional football. Not a * daycare centre.

"Celtic jerseys are not for second best. They don't shrink to fit inferior players."

    This!

Same with all this "let's win the league for Joe Hart" pish. Naw, let's win the league for us * fans!

Won't happen anyway. Soon as this wee narcissistic poseur * of a "manager" is gone the better. And whatever players who want out too, * the lot of them.

Bless ye mate. You’ll be in a minority running with blind hope like that. This isn’t a situation where everyone inside and around the club are pulling in one unified direction.
From the footballing side, to the board, to the fans - there is no unity.

    - Rodgers has no pals, perhaps even in the dressing room at the minute.

    - The board, after that report, are either internally imploding at themselves or the manager. * knows really but that was grim reading.

    - The fans; months of watching turgid football that serves no inspiration to convince anyone that the team have what it takes to defend the title.
Fans being asked to support a manager that a fair chunk despise after his last stint, and since arriving he can’t even get his players, well, playing football.
The fans and the board, need I say more… ffs.

It’s commendable that your trying to rally the troops to push on but they’ve been at it all * season with no reply from the players, no support from the board in January and a manager reading his usual * script whilst looking vacant.

If the players pull off a wonder performance on Sunday and follow it up, we may see something ignite - it’s on those players and the manager to give the fans something to * shout about though… folk are losing their voices watching the * on offer right now!

    I agree with you.
The transfer window was a shambles but we can't change that now. We can moan about Rodgers but he's not going anywhere til the end of season at the earliest. We have a squad miles ahead of every team in the league bar one and if we can win the games we should be winning then it comes down to 2 games vs rangers.

If we blow the league this season the fans will be right to go apoplectic. But from now to end of season everyone needs to try and get behind the cause. It's still in the balance and it's wasted energy being negative now.

I'm not convinced, as Rodgers has never been in a proper title race here. His tally for 2017/18 would have lost us the title to a half decent huns team. I'd like to be optimistic right now, but the players need to show that they haven't downed tools.

Most Celtic managers would be sacked for their record vs Derek McInnes alone. He can start with a good performance tomorrow. Hammer a couple of teams and my confidence will grow. Scraping lucky wins at home to Ross County and it won't.

His goal against Feyenoord, and the fact that he's been stable and reliable in defence.

Its more than being 2pts behind. That's painting a very blinkered view of the season so far.

Fans haven't turned against BR for no reason or a bad reason. It's all evidence based. The style, set up, tactics, refusing to stick with a change in formation and reverting back to 433.

So back him, that's your right, but the majority of fans aren't wrong here. He's a massive part of the problem here. And we're now where near the upturn of the situation so far. In fact, there's nothing to suggest we're gonna change it up soon.

This is sensationalist in any way...tomorrow is the biggest game of his managerial career so far. He blows it, there's no going back for him for the fans.

I hope he gets it right.

I think anything less than the 3 points tomorrow, things will turn really toxic.
