Just more excuses from our * hour board, we need professional football people in charge of decision making and cull this board/transfer system. We need a director of football who will identify managers and players to fit into the system under Ange that so excited us and ambition from our absentee landlord dd

He knows the January transfer window is notoriously difficult to get players.... maybe should have bought them in the summer then and gave us a better chance in Europe as well.....his words just insult the intelligence if every Celtic fan.

Pretty sure it was Rodgers that * the summer signings.

    Can you back that up?

I'm not saying you are wrong but in the absence of proof I'm more inclined to blame them all.

However there is no doubt we were a different animal for 18 months while the fat slug was "away"

60 million CL riches available and we bought a winger with no pace and no talent and a 4th choice bench player from * Norwich.

Is that what Rodger's wanted? I would be stunned if that was the case.

    Happy to be proved otherwise.

Sure. Lawell loves money, but, Rodgers is an arrogant * who overestimates his influence.

Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth

While Lawwell is around you haven't eliminated the impossible

You haven't even eliminated the improbable.

Put the pipe away Sherlock :giggle1:

    Edit.

All joking aside mate I think, personally, that they both shoulder blame.

I think the fans are the losers in some idiotic * measuring contest between the two of them.

Personally, I think even Lawell, if he's the influencer, not sure he is, could see the CL cash on the table next season.

They backed Rodgers thinking he was a sure thing to deliver. And now Rodgers has * it with his arrogance.

    Elementary my dear @Sean Daleer

    Translation from the lawellpspeak app:

"The new manager didn't have a scooby who he wanted, so my boy went out and bought a raft of *.
Then the manager said he wanted quality in the winter, but we weren't willing to pay for it.

But we're not hoarding cash. "

He signed Jack Hendry, admitted that he had to persuade the board to do it, and lauded him as "ready for the Champions League".

I'm not actually disagreeing with you, but Rodgers history in the transfer market is utterly abysmal, which was why transfer control was taken away from him.

He "signed" 28 players his first spell here, among them was ; DeVries, Gamboa, kouassi, Benyu, Bain, Commper (lol, another player he handpicked, even made him dinner FFS), Morgan, Musonda, Hendry, Arzani, Mumumbu, Burke, that oxo fella, bayo, gutman, Perez, * Tolijan lol.

The alternative argument is that he didn't sign these players, the board did, which is crap imo, the vast majority were his, and only definite outlier being Shved.

So if you look at that list, and even if we assume he didn't have anything to do with the summer window; Kuhn and the Norwich donkey are par for the course for Rodgers.

He * useless in the market.

I’ll disagree with the talent part, he clearly has talent with his career so far, thing he’s not and wasn’t going to be was instant quality though.

And I don’t want to judge him too much yet, we’ve barely seen him, but he looks far too weak so far. You can’t be weak in this league, regardless of talent.

Even Kyogo who gets labelled weak, and he isn’t exactly strong, knows how to use what he has. Mainly his energy and quick reactions deals with the physical challenges. Kuhn just looks weak though, MJ could outwrestle him

I don't doubt he played a part in it but there's no way he was after the Korean boys..the board and the recruitment team in particular are to blame.

It's clear he gambled. 8 point gap meant there was no pressure to strengthen in January as we were clear favourites to win. All unravelled quickly and panic button got hit. Took a massive gamble and it has backfired incredibly. Now the miserable sod is looking for sympathy saying 'we feel your pain'.

Arrogant dinosaur. He's a total embarrassment. Hardly a great story, we have money but are too incompetent to spend it.

Has something gone over my head here? Because I've read this post several times and I can't understand it. I mean I agree with each sentence independently; but they have no possible connection to each other. It's as if you said that Gavin Strachan has a laptop and a stitch in time saves nine. o_O
