Isn't it the job of the recruitment team to identify available players??

If that's the way we do it we'd be aswell just identifying Andy Robertson, Virgil van djik Mo salah and mbappe and then head of recruitment can just say "ach iv done my job, it's no my fault there not available".

The comments regarding disappointment at lack of signing should have been swiftly followed by the announcement of Lawwell Jr's sacking but when it's his da marking his homework it's not happening.

If as some have suggested that it's a dig at Rodgers and him not wanting the players identified then his position had to be under review before the next window opens. Rightly or wrongly we have a business model and has had some levels of success, if the manger is now blocking that then he needs sacked
