goldson :56: if that * was playing for anyone other than sevco he'd have given away about 10 pens and have half a dozen red cards this season alone

People are never able to look at that ‘who would you take’ question rationally. On current form, of course you’d have at least a few of them.

Saying that TavPen would start ahead of AJ or Ralston on current form isn’t saying you want to see him in the hoops ffs :giggle1:

Of course no one sane would take Goldson over CCV. No one has said that. CCV is not currently fit and has missed a ton of games. The conversation is about the teams that have been playing this season. Goldson over Scales? I'd say that's 50/50. Goldson over Welsh and Nawrocki? It's a yes from me.

I keep reading similar to this and also about how they are going to go on a bad run of form. Where does that notion come from ? If anything their performances are improving and they are still in 3 competitions having already won the league cup. We used to laugh at them for saying how * we were and how we were there for the taking when we won treble after treble now the shoe is on the other foot.

We should be light years ahead of them and it's a disgrace we're even in this situation but it's absolute blind faith to assume we will flick a switch and find form meanwhile their form falls off a cliff

Mate, this underestimates the problem. CCV has missed more than half the games so far and Hatate has barely kicked a ball for us. Yes, they'd both get in ahead of Rangers if they were fit; but they aren't and they haven't been and their replacements aren't of the same standard.

On current form, Lundstram would be in our midfield as well to be honest. It’s actually someone like him, but better we need. Someone just to sit and protect that back 4. Hopefully Iwata starts at the weekend.

Last year I'd have had Johnston over him all day long. He bossed that right side and games against them especially..

We've had Welsh, Nawrocki and Lagerbielke in. Goldson walks in over all of them and what I'm saying is he'd be a guaranteed starter in our side right now. He isn't great but after Carter-Vickers he is the best centre half in the league and probably better than Scales aye (who i like)..

Forgot about Sima. He'd stroll in to our starting 11. Look at what he's been doing this season over Maeda fucksake or almost all our wingers. It's shameful..

We've allowed them to catch up by losing some of our best players and manager and replacing them with utter *, barely spending a penny and trying to gamble and wing it with a paper thin and diabolical squad depth..

Look at their squad and I really don't rate it at all but then look at who starts for us and what we have to call on off the bench. It's as bad as it gets. We've far less experienced go to guys than them now..

They've got no gears left to give. This is there peak.

I'm not saying they're going to go on a bad run though. They'll drop the odd point(s) though here and there imo.

I can't see them smashing teams 4 or 5-0 consistently.

We've definitely got more gears in us but I doubt we'll see it under Rodgers. The ones that have stayed from Ange's tenure are a shadow of themselves. No one has played particularly well this season.

Tavernier would walk into our team. He's not an amazing defender, but just look how impotent our right side is compared to theirs and its pretty much all because of him. The pros would far outweighs the cons with him. He's not the same player he was 4 years ago or so when we bitched them constantly.

Outside of him and Butland, I don't think they are better than us. I'd take our fit midfield all day. And probably 2 of our front 3.

Barišić is a Croatian International and probably more effective than Taylor or Bernabei. That being said, Yilmaz has played a fair bit for them recently, I think?

They have a big squad which is being rotated every game.
Players are coming on and they're winning.
All their players are contributing ....

While we are all over the place, no fluency and the same players are used every week...our players look burnt out .

They have a bigger and better squad , writing is on the wall .

This thread is a riddy turned into a hun love in * the huns I don’t want any of them near our team. We get our act together and we win the league simple.

As much as Rodgers has made us pish this season he knows how to get a result against them if we’re level or 2 behind going there I think we win. Not had CCV or Hatate against them twice and still won

This is spot on. Teams have switched on to how we play. St Mirren in the cup never man marked Calmac, he had 80 touches of the ball. Killie did, it went down to 40. The cup game was ana anomaly as St Mirren tried to go for it.

MOR us our only creative output as well. He's dropping further back, mensing he can't supply Kyogo and isn't near enough to getting to the box to score. He hasn't scored in 7p games now. Our wingers are * and don't contribute enough.

Rodgers states he isnt surprised...so he knew this would/could happen yet allows it. That's poor management.

Aye, signings have been gash, put he should absolutely be able to get a tune outta of them and adapt to the strengths of the current squad.

    I'd take Beale.

Just for a few minutes so he can take the (Lawwell) hand brake off.
