Agree with that, he talks about game management from players but where was his? Bring on Iwata and solidify.

Him failing here, his options down south become a lot more limited though. Then why do you willingly walk away from a guaranteed £7m? You don’t from there, if they want rid of him, then they do the proper thing that every other club does and makes the decisive move to do so.

Welsh and Ralston weren't deemed good enough to start under Ange. Why should they be under Rodgers? He's playing them because he has to.

Scales is poor and is nowhere near good enough for Celtic.

Scales or Welsh are a good 4th choice centre-back. It shows how far our expectations have fallen, we'd accept that as our best possible backups.

I was screaming for it 75 minutes in. And I wanted it to be for Kuhn. 7 minutes after he came on but it was the obvious move we needed at that point. Have a tidy 3 in the middle with Calmac, O’Riley, Bernardo and Iwata inbetween midfield and defence. Protect the back 4, kill the space, slow the game down, game management that is.

Yang and Oh in a 2 up top. Leaves Kuhn out to dry there, but it was the way we needed to go

Cancel the free dental plan. He'll need to spend more on teeth whitener than that. He'll be off to a Turkish team in a shot.

Niether has ever let us down Welsh has had a few shaky moments but always came through.
But if Rodgers doesn't fancy Welsh he could always play Rocki or Lager instead.

Ralston started a lot under Ange, and got himself a long term deal under Ange.

Welsh similar wasn’t allowed to go anywhere, on loan or for decent money to a good team and league - a couple of deals in Italy knocked back, Udinese being prominent that was £3.5m odd apparently. Got himself a deal, Ange rated him. Then 2 times he went to get the chance, he got injured. That’s an issue with him.

Him and Jenz were the CL defence under Ange though, who finished the season Kobayashi being the first team CB.

I like the look of Nawrocki, but the County game was it? His last game we seen him think it was County, jesus that was a * horrific showing, and the most I’ve ever seen a player absolutely panicking not knowing what to do.

I think Rodgers has lost any drive and determination. I think he probably did want a year away from football, but we have begged him to come back. Which then makes the summer and January windows all the stranger in my opinion. I think Rodgers knows his race is run down South now, and he will always have the option of a huge pay check by going to the likes of Saudi, which I’ve no doubt he would get a gig over there if he wanted one. I don’t see the same fire in the belly as before.

Not in recent games, nobody has been playing well. Not even Mcgregor or O’Riley.
Everyone is looking for scapegoats. Theres not a chance Scales or Ralston is the cause of this form. People forget, iv seen these performances under Rodgers in his first spell. Go and watch us Vs Monchengladbach at home or the defeat to Gerrarrd. We played the same way.
Naturally Bernabei is the easy target. But our poor form didnt start with Bernabei and everyone else has contributed at some time during the season.

He also took Idah off leaving Kyogo up front himself when we really needed a focal point and someone to hit then 10 mins later it was like he realised this and went Oh for Kyogo. He's made a * load of similar decisions this season as well that just make little to no sense

That’s why I said over the course of the season. Recent games there’s been nobody, Scales I’d still say probably. He’s still been ok but it’s showing that we can’t expect him to deal with so many partnership changes around him, at LB and whatever CB is beside him.

Honestly, I’m impressed it’s taken that long to happen. Scales has shown so much resilience and adaptability this season, and thrived. But now, he needs consistency around him, with more experience… that being CCV, Taylor. Hopefully we can get that rest of the year. We need CCV

I feel like a broken record with this one, but searching for a goal vs Hearts, only player who created anything in Palma, subbed for Bernabei. Who the week before wasn’t trusted at LB to come on for Taylor because he had the flu - Ralston at LB instead.

I can’t wrap my head around that at all

Rodgers is a fraud who hasn't got a clue, and when he took the job he expected to stroll Scotland.

Good or bad with his tactics is one thing but imo the team dont want to play for him,you can see we have no fire or passion in our play and to me it wont matter what players he picks he,s lost the team and thats us *.

Pre-season I seen a lot of what of what he was trying to tweak to his style a bit, and it was a lot to do with Abada. I think the plan was to shape around his strengths, along with Kyogo/Maeda who were sharing the CF position between them, and O’Riley.

Abada being injured, and then unavailable upon return, scuppered how he knew to help Kyogo be his best and couldn’t adapt to not having that aspect there.

O’Riley was the only one to still benefit, he’s looking a bit lost just now though.

He’s not a fraud, that’s one thing, he’s not what Rodgers thinks Rodgers is but he’s nowhere near a fraud.

He’s just short of being something great.

Didn't see that myself but fair enough, but feels like Abadas been injured/unavailable for long enough that it's not even close to an explanation of anything at present. Only seen him ruin Kyogo in all honesty. He maybe had one game in preseason that the style of play actually suited him.

Rodgers has been uninspiring from the off is how I've viewed it.
