There actually looked a point with about 10 mins to go where Rodgers was looking to bring him on only to realise he'd used his 5 subs. Clown!!!

Should have been on before Bernardo

We are far too lightweight and small. Most of our team are built like the side of a fiver. It’s not just the mentality that’s severely lacking it’s the physicality.

The players, I think, are only a small part of the problem. Tactics, specifically the "keep the ball at all costs" tactic which slows us right down, is the main problem. Rarely have we looked so little like scoring.

Many called it when he was appointed, and they were right.

Yep only 4 times in last 15 years have we scored less than 80 goals in a league campaign.

    78 under Lennon/Kennedy during 10iar season
    75 under Mowbray/lennon 2009/10
    77 under Rodgers/lennon 2018/19
    73 under Rodgers 2017/18

2 of those season are down in history as some of the worst in our history the other 2 are his.

He is incapable of producing teams that play entertaining, high scoring football.

Bernardo didnt offer anything different to O’Riley. Its like our team is split into the backline plus Cal, and then Bernardo and O’Riley and the forwards. It needs to change. We are too easily beaten on the counter

I'm sick of repeating myself. Sick of reading you repeat yourself then contradict yourself so I'm done with your utter drivel and nonsense.

Id put you on ignore but you're * funny and your continued and pathetic attempts at defending Rodgers kinda amuse me now.
    How was that:56:

So is Rodgers just deliberately not picking players who are actually really good? Or could it be that they just aren’t very good and that’s why they are either out on loan or can’t get a sniff? I’m not the imbecile trying to claim our summer transfer window “wasn’t that bad.” Then to try and back up your argument, you talk about Stan Petrov. A player who played for us circa 20 years ago. You’ll be telling me January wasn’t that bad as well eh?

Tbf mate summer window was pish but are those that were signed really much worse than the * we've been watching all season?

Theres definitely something going on behind the scenes and he seems to only play those that have been signed this year when he needs to due to injuries.

I think the main problem with Rodgers is his ego wouldn't let him come in and build on what Ange had done.

He had to make it all about him, so instead of just making a few tweaks here and there, he had to change the system completely. Even though is obvious to everyone that he doesn't have the players to play the sysyem he wants.

He was exactly the wrong manager for that time.

Re Rodgers, I think there is still more to it than just that, but all of what you said, esp what highlighted. is all very true and has played a significant part in why the team is currently performing.

For all of his supposedly legendary coaching ability, I really don't think there is a single player who he has made better... perhaps O'Riley, but even that is debateable.

I wouldn't be surprised if he return was motivated more out of spite than it was from a desire to rectify his legacy.

Whatever about his style of play he's paid 2.5 million a year to get subs right at least. Against the huns with a man advantage his subs nearly cost us and on Saturday his subs did cost us.

He's being a stubborn wee boy about the whole thing and not playing guys he clearly never scouted or asked for. Needs to grow up and pick the best XI available.

Nawrocki has looked good on the ball whenever he's played, Lagerbielke has been fine too scoring in the CL and keeping a clean sheet at ibrokes. His decision making this season has been all over the place.

During his last stint, I worked with a scouse lad that said, “I’m in no doubt he’ll win you games but it will not last and you’ll rarely see any variation in his playstyle.”

The next part though, I thought was a bit of a joke but he wasn’t wrong. It was a while ago so verbatim it ain’t but you get the gist.
“If you’re ever chasing a game, losing by a goal or drawing in the closing minutes, don't be surprised if the game plan stays the same and at the same speed. There will be zero rush to get the ball forward.”

Which ever way you slice it, we have the better team and squad than all of the other clubs in Scotland.

We're not showing it and it's completely down to him.

He's the most expensive manager in Scottish history and he's not showing it.

    That's completely down to him.

I have seen literally nothing from him all season that has made me think we'll win a trophy this year.

McInnes has got the better of him in three of the four times we've played then this season.

A St Johnstone team that couldn't buy a point, got a point from us.

Hearts were struggling and took three at Celtic Park.

Motherwell were struggling for points, so we gave them one. Same for Aberdeen.

Hibs were hammered 4-0 by the huns the week before we dropped points to them.

Ross County, Hibs (again), Motherwell (again) were all unlucky to not take anything from their games against us.

I'm well aware that we're going to see games like these throughout a season but not every * week!

We've done this to ourselves. No one else has done this. We could all see this happening and it was only a matter of time that we were going to drop enough points for them to catch up and then overtake us.

We also know how this ends if we don't do something about it and punt Rodgers.

We all know the board won't do it though.

I would say it's unbelievable but we all know it's believable.

I've enjoyed Atletico, Feyenoord, Hearts, Hibs, huns x2, Aberdeen games. 7 games from 35. The rest have been absolutely grim to watch. Like weekend ruining grim.

Nawrocki I don’t get. Said that numerous times. Rodgers had hinted about him not showing enough in training. Let’s be honest though, can you honestly say you’ve been impressed by Yang, Lagerbielke, Kwon? Tilio was injured almost all the first half of the season, but he will never make it here because he isn’t good enough. Knew that when he signed. Holm has shown the odd glimpse off the bench, but when he has then been given the chance and started, he has been poor as well. Bernardo has only really looked good in a handful of games around Xmas.

So are we now saying all these guys are actually better than we have but Rodgers just isn’t picking them for the sake of it? So he is now willing to lose the league out of stubbornness? That’s mental talk in my opinion.

So is that an admission that you think he has had players forced on him? That’s a bigger concern.

If the board weren’t prepared to give him the funds to allow him to bring in players to suit his system, which they would have known before hiring him, they shouldn’t have brought him in. We should have brought in someone similar to Ange in terms of style. That’s on the board though.
