Fries my * brain that man, we complain about the safe five yard slow passes and being predictable, turgid, no spontaneity about us. Then the one guy who takes on the responsibility to try and provide the opposite of the predictable, slow, turgid *. And its not pinpoint perfect, then its arms up in the air, bang out, *, selfish. * got 13 assists already and is still settling in, why does he get so much * stick

Didn't realise that. Nothing we can do in that case. I guess Brendan just had to put his faith in Yang suddenly becoming a footballer.

    Shocking state of affairs.

Aye Peter Grant was making it out to be a tactical thing but it was mentioned shortly after the game restarted by the commentator.

Thing is, he absolutely consistently makes 1 or 2 big chances a game. If we were more clinical he’d be having a record season for assists.

I’ve just realised something, this is the McGeady debate revisited. He might be 50/50 if its a shiter or a belter of a pass/cross. But he’ll make sure he’ll have at least 1 or 2 belters a game regardless of how many attempts. In this team, we * need that. Every other player just plays it safe. Barely ever skips out a player, thats why we’re so slow and pish

I like him mate he's by far our most creative winger we rely heavily on him everything goes down his side when he's on but he can also be frustrating as * and for me he was miles off it today. One of those players you can genuinely tell after 5 mins

And that’s because he’s always showing and making space to get the ball, I know but even today, Idah should have scored the header he put on a plate for him. Even when he’s having a shiter, he’s still more creative than most.

For an example of why I think * talk * about Palma - Podcast I’m listening to right now just said Palma and Yang have the same poor end product

I agree I was actually speaking about it today at the game I think you could state a case of all the wingers on our books he and Haksa would be most suited to this 'system'

Haksa I’m still raging with man, he’d played his way in to starting against the Huns before his wee hissy fit.

See his stats the year before under Ange man, they’re * insane. I had a tenner at 20/1 for him being player of the year before Ange announced for Spurs. Wee * Haksa, had so much faith

Podcasts have been doing my nut in with their opinion of Palma. It boggles my mind that people think he's the problem

A less skilful version of Elyonousi - has talent but lacks application, drive and guts.

How does he lack application? And guts? He atleast tries to be creative which is more than can be said for most who just pass the buck

He's like a 5 a side player at times, but we rely on him so much. Our problem lies that none of the other wide players are contributing when he is off form.

For one thing, he can’t apply himself enough to be consistent. He has talent but he doesn’t demonstrate it often enough.

It doesn’t help that we’re so reliant on him because the wingers on the opposite side are hopeless, which obviously isn’t his fault.

But what that does is highlight how * frustrating he is. No getting away from his number of assists - it’s impressive, but he needs to be scoring more. 1 in his last 11 games and it was against Buckie Thistle.

It’s such a load of * statement any quick check to see shows a * gulf in the end product between the two. Two goals last week came from Palma, and it’s almost like a Meme people just repeating he’s done nothing for weeks. He was poor today, but Idah should have scored the easy chance Palma made for him.

And one of the funny things, in an annoying sorta way, all the same * saying so Palma went off second half and well the 2nd half, what went wrong, no creativity I can’t put my finger on why there was nothing there.

The guy might still come good eventually, and I mean this in the nicest way possible … but Palma makes me want to lobotomise myself multiple times throughout a game.

The decision making, the constant coming back inside, the inability to actually beat a man and put a ball across the box first time … Between him, Yang, MJ and Maeda there’s not one footballing brain

They three 12 goals assists between them.

    Palma 18 on his own

    I really don’t get it
