The one at Parkhead not so much rode are luck as lost our grip on the game, panicked, lost all semblance of tactics or shape to the team, and got dragged through to the end through a couple of players who stood up to be counted - mainly Calmac, Taylor
    , Scales and Nawrocki.

And they had ten men. And just before the free kick they scored? I turned to my mate and said half jokingly we’re strolling it out, how we going to turn this edgy as *, then they got the * freekick. Might be ma fault really :56:

If they win tomorrow we would be 2 draws away from it being possible. You would be a brave man to bet us at Fir Park next week

The way we've been playing since the break, we're getting nothing at Ibrox.

Honestly judging by what we do the rest of the season next week at Fir Park we’ll have a half decent performance, something to build on, this is where we kick on. And then after that game, we don’t build on it or kick on.

    I’ve noticed the pattern :56:

Said it as well mate Ibrox was meant to kickstart our season then it was Tynecastle then it was the Aberdeen game then it was the Feyenoord home game then it was the 30th of Dec.

Without wanting to come across as a smug I called it type of *. It genuinely surprises me that people are surprised at results like today I have seen little to nothing all season to give me any hope moving forward. Today was the norm the better performances like listed above are the outliers. I feared it could all unravel fairly quickly coming out of the Jan window and it seems to be doing so

There’s been that many kickstarts we’re just booting * out ourselves by noo. i’ve a really decent Hun mate, annoyingly his football opinions are bang on as *. We were talking next day after we beat them and he was like thats us *, yer on top going into January and use can make sure use can blow as away.

I said whoever has the best window will be favourites come start of March, he thought that them doing that was pretty much impossible- and it * kinda was.

However thats what happened. The sheer * incompetence. There’s £60m up for grabs man, if they get that, they have the war chest we’ve been hiding in our bank like a bunch of Tory dragons, and they won’t do that. They’ll use it, to try and * bury us, and make sure they get that money every year. We don’t seem to care to make sure of that.

We’re a Kyogo dodgy shoulder away from it being pretty much insurmountable that. Possibly hyperbole through ma anger here, but I think it’s probably true

Dessers missed an absolute sitter at a crucial point in the game. In the other game the boy they got rid of in Jan, had curly hair missed a sitter. That was horrific watching that game play out haha

I suspect it’s an open secret that Lawwell and co. are a * nightmare to deal with. I don’t think they have a great reputation among most agents and managers.

Honestly, it’s mostly speculation, but from what I’ve heard it sounds like in the last few years Lawwell has become increasingly erratic. I’ve heard about bizarre rants he’s went on. We’re a long way away from the guy that made the Jelavic comments all those years ago.

I couldn't catch the game, but the highlights suggested that it was similar to many other performances this season, where we go ahead, fail to push on and then it becomes a bit of a basketball game and lottery as to whether we'll get 3 points or not.

That for me has been three starkest difference between Angeball and Rodgers' football: with Ange, 9 times out of 10 we'd suffocate teams like this to the point that they had very little chance of walking away with anything from the match. Sure, there was the odd match where we didn't take our chances and they capitalised from a long throw or corner, but typically the stats would be something like 22 shots to 3 or something similar.

What was it today, 15 shots to 13? At home... Against Killie...

St. Mirren had 18 shots on goal last weekend and ran through our midfield time and again with ease. We're just not controlling games at all.

I think it’s stupid as * the way people are acting like those are points we can rely on.

It reminds me of Beale saying the points against Ange were in the post, because they’d won the previous games.

Just a really really stupid attitude. Shocked at some posters peddling it.

The thing is it’s always an almost complimentary adoration of - bullish business man, tough negotiator, meticulous, gets every penny he can from a deal he’s a nightmare to be up against.

and the full thing that he does have a good reputation in the higher echelons of football, UEFA connections and panels and * like that which is one reason the background director role after he ‘resigned’ was needed. It gives us a voice in Europe apparently, don’t know what good that’s done us at all, I imagine if anything it’s stuff that we’ll never know as fans anyway.

Lawwell’s always had a * ego, a big * ego. And he’d trip over it and it’d * us over at times, nothing more obvious than his * measuring contests with Rod Petrie - that he was 3/3 soundly bested by him. Scott Brown he paid the fee Petrie demanded, didn’t get him to budge and inch. And his ego getting a wee bruise after that, well that * us getting Stephen Fletcher - the Willo Flood window, ultimately was a major part of losing that league.

And the next one. John McGinn. Lost us the competent version of Rodgers, ultimately lost him long before he left because he was absolutely checked out, endangered players health and careers in Tierney and Rogic, and picked fights publicly when the performances were dwindling. He jumped before that situation hit rock bottom.

So that’s the ego Lawwell’s always had, he’s got older, he’s got a trophy case of success to point to, and a bulging bank account to point to, and he think’s he’s the * *.

And when it’s pointed out aye maybe tittys but saggy shiters that do the job he doesn’t like it.

The biggest thing for me to show you what he is, he retired, he couldn’t get out the limelight, transferred his role to chairman which usually is a hands off role, not day in day out like hes treating. And really, he’s de facto doing the job he retired from, without the same salary to go with it because he can’t * stand not having any control and I suspect he couldn’t stand how many people were celebrating Michael Nicholson and Ange’s relationship and sheer competence, driven business, and fingers being pointed to man no Lawwell is amazing. His ego can’t stand that can it?

As a person by all accounts he’s actually really nice, goes out his way for people for personal issues. But business side? He’s a chode. And an emotional toddler

We need them because we’re so * this season but people are acting like they’re almost in the bag, which is ridiculously arrogant.

    I agree.

I think with us chasing him out and then Ange coming in and doing what we’ve all said we should’ve been doing all these years, that absolutely killed him.

It’s like he’s come back and brought his son in and doubled down on Lawwell-ism, because his ego can’t take that we’ve been right all along.

You can imagine him raging that Ange said at the AGM how it should be run - completely the opposite of how he ran it.

Aye ridiculous position we’ve put ourselves in. * sake I’ve no even noticed that, I didn’t know we had Killie until Friday night
, dunno how it passed me by, and was raging I was like * Kilmarnock at Parkhead, what a nervy game.

I’ve said this far too many times but the * whiplash between last year and now man. I’m no emotionally equipped to deal with going from peak high to… no really rock bottom, but * *

That's the thing, Rodger's continually bemoans the lack of intensity in post match interviews but he inherited the most high tempo Celtic side any of us had ever seen. And the more time he actually spends with the team on the training pitch the worse it's getting. I mean we had an entire week to prepare for that pish served up today.

His son I’m sure was a lot to do with Ange, the link between Mark Lawwell and Ange in Japan with City group is how Peter Lawwell even knew about Ange was pushing for him through the Howe business, it’s why we got him so rapidly when Howe said no. We had it lined up, and that was a lot to do with the Lawwell’s, that should be a * perfect leaving gift to sail out into the sunset from Peter. A perfect listen not everything was perfect but 4 Trebles in a row and then left use Ange as my final farewell.

We got Lawwell Jr due to the relationship between Ange and him, and because obviously - Lawwell. It seemed a good * idea to me, Ange and him have a working relationship, he’s well in with a football juggernaut with City group that we’ve benefited off having the networking with them already.

But when his old boy steps back in the picture. Nah, I don’t like.

A can’t imagine his Dad allows him to push his boundaries, to step over the line and have his own voice. Just judging from what we know about his dad.

And that just breeds further incompetence and ammo to pelt them with, because we fo have a nepotism issue. Jobs for the bhoys
