    Genuine question

Outwith saying you don't trust the board to make the right appointment as that's a criticism of the board not a defence of the manager.

What do people see to think Rodgers can turn this around ?

    Desmond should do the following:
Spend on a full team of quality players who can mix it up in Europe and get rid of the current squad with a few exceptions and then he can show he’s interested in not just making money.

Dead rubber game when we were already out and they were already thru. Incomparable to today's game.

Aye our game management is horrifyingly nervy..

We had the ball by the corner flag and were just seeing it out. McGregor takes it and comes inside and * the pass in to the box and they someone manage to go up the park and score..

    Madness..

Thing for me is the absolutely * football.

I don’t get how people can work hard all week then watch that * and be happy because we’re ‘still in a title race’.

Aye, sometimes you have a stinker but you’re meant to enjoy watching the game most weeks even if you don’t get the * result. We’ve had barely a good game all season but this * is rinsing us for 50k per week.

Brendan Rodgers is unwilling to change the playing style of this team. He described McInnes' style in his press conference a couple of days ago. Why doesn't he copy it? It would improve us.

Its the level he has managed at before. In my opinion. Thats what does it for me. Nearly won the league with Liverpool. Won us trebles in the past. Did reasonably well for us in the Champions League. Won a cup with Leicester. Did well with Leicester in Europe. He's dealt with pressure a lot greater than beating than the huns to a title. He can handle the pressure and he knows how to deal with it. He also has a habit of winning the games against the huns that matter. Thats what will win us the league in my opinion. The board have let him down and probably lied to him about what money they would provide for him to improve the club. Thats why we are not streets ahead in this league at the minute

What worries me is BR keeps saying league is not over and yes he is right but it's not like our form has only just changed. For months now we have been huffing and puffing to beat teams and let's not forget the games we got lucky and got a late goal never mind the points we have dropped. The team is showing no sign of getting better and we have gone from a high scoring team to lucky to win by one goal.
We won't replace the manager because of the money we would have to give him,we learned that much when they let lenny drag his * for months after his time was up.
We might win the league sure, but if we do it's due to luck and very little to do with anything the manager or this group of players do going forward. I truly don't see us winning away when we can't even win at home this season.
I would replace him now so a new manager can build for next season.

Aye mate, I chose that game because it was at the extreme end for that season. Go and look at some of the other teams he had to win with for * sake.

Also I’m still waiting to hear who McInnes had available to him today against us at Celtic park. Surely must’ve been some quality players if Rodgers couldn’t possibly be expected to win.

You dont win a league playing the football we do and he wont change his playstyle so this only ends one way.

I remember that game and everyone on here was going mental cause Ange had brought on Kyogo in a meaningless game and he got injured and was out for weeks. Every manager makes mistakes.

What’s the relevance of that mate?

Point is the squad Rodgers has should be beating KILMARNOCK at least 1 time out of * 3, not losing twice then drawing 1-1 at home. The squad isn’t a sufficient excuse for that.

So the actual Celtic players couldn’t be * getting back into the box to defend a cross at home to Kilmarnock at 1-0 on the 92nd minute.

But it’s the supporters being annoyed about that who are manifesting a league loss?

I really don’t think people understand what happened today. There’s dropping points then there’s dropping points.

No we're not. I admire the positivity, but it's essentially down to thos players and coaches. They're weak mentally, * set up, inepteness all round is what will cost us the title. Not fans, * off at the * served on and off the park.

If anything, the support are very united in these fronts.

Supporters are allowed to be annoyed and vent their anger. What * me off is people who dont get what supporting a team means and that its not just about only being positive when you are winning every game and every trophy.

You cant just demand a manager gets sacked when we go through a bad spell. Especially one that has won the league every other season he has managed us and beaten the huns in the last 2 games. For me there is a lot more evidence pointing to Brendan turning this around than Clement having the nerve to see it out.

The signs have been there from the start. Another 'interviewed no *' appointment by our genius board.

You keep saying it’s a bad spell as if we’ve been good all season and the wheels have just come off recently.

Check back the forums if you like, but I think you’ll find people have been disappointed in Celtic for most of the season, even when we’ve been winning.
