rodgers will send the same players out to play exactly the same way next week, whats the * point of keeping him,he has no clue whats wrong or how to fix it .if he had the team would have creating chances months ago

Also a manager changing tactics is a big deal. It’s desperate stuff. The fact this 50k per week genius has changed tactics and dropped points 2 games later is a sign he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

He cannot reliably score goals with CELTIC in the SPFL for * sake.

He's got Ralston, Scales, Welsh & Bernabei for a back 4 - Ange had JJ, CCV, Starfelt and Taylor. These are simply poor quality players - what results are you expecting the coach to get with bad players?

Listened to a fair bit of the Huddle breakdown recently. Just trying to get a bit of balance to my thoughts and not just on the ol eye test to decipher if we're * or not. Been a wake up call.

They worked it out, on average, a Celtic defence wins 82% of aerial duels. That's not taking in to account where the second ball may end up.

Scales wins 80% of his, Welsh 79% of his. This is a massive drop off from Ajer, Julien and Duffy who all won 88/89% of their duels. Near 10 percent drop of in aerial duels won. That's massive. Carl and CCV are giants in this metric too.

Since data was collected, St Mirren last week got the 2nd most amount of corners against Celtic ever in the SPFL. 11 in total.

Joe Hart is on record as the worst keeper positionally in the league for when shots are taken. Worst! Celtic defensively, let more shots at goal, nearest the goal than any other team in the league.

This is the standard we've dragged ourselves down to. It's appalling.

We need change from top to bottom clearly. But Rodgers is failing to deliver on massive scale.

Ive actually got to the stage i dont care anymore.

This club has been a * shambles for as long as i have know it in terms of moving us forward as a club.

Since 2003 onwards we have been a * disgrace at not adding to the squad at the correct times when needed.

The club needs wiped....somehow,from top to bottom.

Rodgers is just another * in this....He has been on the downslide for a few years now tbh,an old school manager in a modern game.I dont blame Rodgers for all this alone, the players have been a disgrace as well, along with recruitment and the board....They are all to blame for this * show.

Handing those * 60 million will be the final straw for me because im positive the board let this happen thinking we will just stay 1 step ahead of them and bank all the money.....and its now backfired. We will not come back from this for years in my opinion, because they will spend that money and push on...and fair * to them for doing that..as we continue to save and spend little.

The league is done....There is no motivation in this team and the fans today singing the songs about the board as much as its correct will just add to the slow downfall here of us. The board aint moving here...we are *.

And its gotten to that stage of not actually giving a * anymore....Why put my hard earned money and time into a club that stands still...we dont deserve that...none of us do....but its the slow reality of this now.

Off to look up the rules of cricket....

    What was Kilmarnock defence today?

We had Kyogo, who did they have up front?

I know McInnes will be on more money than Rodgers, but still.. oh wait, no that’s not right.

Well it’s tough to beat Kilmarnock at Rugby Park after all.

Wait, no that’s not right either..

This is a load of pony & trap sir. Those that understand the game a bit saw this train crash coming months and months ago. Its supporters like you that keep cockroaches like the Liewells at the club

In Brendan we trust. Sacking a manger during a run in isn’t a good idea. Panic merchants. People putting hun points on the board before games are played…

Levein will do BR a favour tomorrow.

It’s a fair point, but we’re regularly dropping points to the likes of Kilmarnock, and you can’t tell me that they have better players than ours. We’re not up against European quality opponents here.

The complete lack of goal scoring and chance creation is as worrying as the defence. And that’s entirely on Rodgers and his tactics.

Also, Ange beat Real Betis 3-2 with a defence of Urgohide, Bitton, Welsh and Scales.

I dare you to go and look at the rest of the team he had to play that day.

    Ajeti was up front.

All the panic merchants were singing his praises at new year. Won’t see them when we win the league.

This is it for me add in we must be one of the worst teams when a goal up and opposition are chasing it at killing games off. We always pick the wrong pass or someone falls over the ball it is embarrassing the lack of a clinical edge this team has.

Like see each of our league games since the split we have been in a degree of control off, then a team comes out and we should be able to pick them off but instead we just crumble and put pressure on our poor defence and keeper.

Well thank you for your lovely comment good sir lol.

It is my opinion that those who understand the game a bit know that you cant just sack managers as soon as it gets a bit stressful at the top. Bad spells come with good spells. Peaks and troughs and all that. I just cant stand all this wanting the manager's head every time it doesnt go our way. We are in a title race. The destination of the league is in our hands. Yes we have to play better and Rodgers needs to do a lot of sorting * out on the training ground on Monday. But thats what he's paid to do and thats why he's in the job. It is my belief that he'll do it successfully

Standards have dropped since Brendan came back. Transfers, tactics, fitness, injuries and most importantly results is far from where it needs to be. Everyone knows that Brendan won't turn this around, not now, not tomorrow, not in six months. He's done at this level.

It just all sounds like supporters who have only ever known success and as soon as achieving that success appears like its going to be a bit more difficult than we first thought.....then these same supporters demand a change in manager. I do not get this. I really dont. I do not see any benefit whatsoever to changing our manager at this crucial time of the season during the height of a title run in

No, I'm not. My point is you can't expect the coach to get the same outcomes as his predecessor with much inferior resources at his disposal, particularly against the 'better' SPL teams. Not defending Rodgers, he's played a material role in the underperformance but he can't polish a *.

That’s the annoying thing for me, he had the framework of a solution. Last game and the first half he made the changes that had a positive impact, and that was working. He slowly reverted back over the 2nd half, the more he did, the more pressure we were under and it was sadly predictable ending. He found a promising solution, and shat it when it was working
