I have nothing positive from today, I’m taking a step back and trying to provide perspective. We were lucky not to be beaten, it was * and we are playing *.

He won't be sacked. He will be allowed lose the league and then board will hang him out to dry to try and force him to accept a package to soften the financial blow of letting him off

Just been thinking similar. What would be the end point for Rodgers? The board aren't sacking him.

But for the majority fans, when is it time up? Motherwell and Hearts away and it the title could be done.

Aye, and let’s not forget that this is in a season where the huns sacked their manager.

Since Clement came in, their record puts ours to shame.

I've been calling this for months, how does that make me delusional?

Go back and look at the new manager threads from the Summer. You'll find countless posts by myself in the second week of June saying why I didn't want Rodgers back and how I feared he'd * this league up if he did. That's before he even put pen to paper.

There were so many red flags with Rodgers. Not just as a person, but his managerial "ability", I pointed these out back then when most on here were getting all nostalgic about the invincible treble. All the while ignoring the fact he just relegated Leicester (the most expensive team to ever go down). All of those worries have come to fruition this season.

He's a * diddy of a manager and they know that in England. Liverpool fans think he's a joke, the Leicester fans despise him. The guy is DONE. The head in the sand merchants up here who thought he was elite because he won a few trebles against utter muck are honestly embarrassing.

We've lost this league. We lost it weeks ago in fairness. The only way I see us winning now it is if we get shot of Rodgers and Rangers collapse. None of those things are happening.

    Because it is delusional.

You're refusing to accept what is happening in front of your own eyes.

The gap keeps getting smaller, but every time it does, there's no need to be alarmed as we're still top... by 5, by 2, on GD, on GS, now just 2 behind but sure that's nothing.

This is clearly heading one way.

What do you honestly think the points difference will be by the time we go to Ibrox?

Exactly mate, so there is absolutely nothing to suggest we will win the league other than blind faith and hope. That's simply not good enough.

From 8 points ahead to 2 behind after tomorrow, any other manager in the world loses a 10 point swing their job is on the line. Van bronckhorst lost the huns a 7 point lead and got sacked, and he made it to a European final, what has Rodgers achieved again?

    Not family run FC though.

    Will agree to disagree.

For me, blowing an 8 point lead or 11 points whatever it could have been, largely down to poor home form into the bargain, is more than a gradual decline.

Add to it the context of the Huns having am absolute nobody as a coach for 3 months of the season, going through an upheaval in the summer and then getting a new manager on board in October and it makes horrific reading. This is a rival of ours that we have laughed at and continually made fun of for how much money we have compared to them, how far ahead we are etc etc. That's negligence above Rodgers, though.

Hope we can somehow turn this around and go on a consistent run but we haven't done so all season and that is one fact that can't be denied. We haven't looked like a coherent side who knows what they're doing since Rodgers came back and I've been someone who's tried not to go in on him.

There's been influencing factors but we are where we are.

We are going to drop more points before the Huns and they are going to beat us. Count that up. This clown has to go.

This sounds probably ridiculous but I'd say the board are going to sack him and appoint Neil Lennon and he'll claw the pints back and win the league haha

It can only end one way because Rodgers seems unwilling/unable to identify and change the issues.

Mate, we're going to struggle not to finish this season trophyless. For 2 reasons:

    1) Since Clement took over, here is their form:

WWWWDWWWWWLWWWWWW and that single loss was the derby.

    Now here's ours:

    WDWWWDWWLLWWWWWDWD

    2) Look art how we're playing, mate. In the last few weeks, Aberdeen outplayed us for a half. Kilmarnock outplayed us for a half. Hibs ouplayed us both halves and were robbed. Even St Mirren outplayed us for a 15-minute spell. You normally get the odd freak game maybe once a season; but when do we ever get outplayed so regularly domestically? We were literally hoofing the ball away towards the end today when we had time to play it. Celtic, domestically, hoofing the ball upfield in panic. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

We're a poor team right now. A very poor team.

Even more annoying than that he identified, changed it and then steadily reverted back more and more, when that reverting back was the obvious thing that was * us. Tactical genius

I agree. As bad as results are going at the minute. Its still way too late to let him go. What would be the point in that while we are still in a title race??? We are still gonnae win the league anyway. I am sure of that.

What might happen is he might carry on....scrape the league championship on probably the last day of the season and then walk cause our board didnt back him when they should have (AGAIN).

He's not just magically became a bad manager. He has all the credentials and all the history to say otherwise. What happened in the January transfer window (and the one in the summer) was criminal and I dont think it was his fault.

I'll still be backing him and I genuinely believe we will still win the league. This is the closest the huns have got to challenging us since the co-vid season and then 10 * whole seasons before that. This isnt a crisis. We just need to sort ourselves out and go again. We are better than the huns in every position except goalkeeper. We will do this. Everyone * calm down

It's not going to happen! I'm always optimistic and think we'll always pull it back. Definitely not this time. The team have been playing * all season and aren't going to change anything soon. He stays, the Huns definitely winning the league

Good point regarding Van Bronckhorst, he was sacked for a lot less. Was probably on pennies compared to Rodgers too. Isn't he the highest paid manager in our history? *.

Don't forget Rodgers beat the huns twice too which is 6+ points. So when you put it like that, the points swing is even bigger. It's borderline criminal that we're in this position now.

Rodgers needs to go. Then whatever happens, when this season finishes the fans need to force big changes in the boardroom. They are destroying the club, we need to get all of the parasitical * to *.
