An Irish manager thinking a young Irish 3rd choice player at Norwich is gonna be the answer to our prayers is embarrassing.

You could stick prime messi on a free, and a raw Irish player for £2m infront of Desmond and Rodgers, they'd plump for the Irish punt every single time.

I thought he was alright in parts, but we need better.

Rodgers wanted him. The guy has missed 2 or 3 sitters from open play now.

Probably do a job for a mid table championship team, but not one where you have the pressure of having to win most weeks.

I thought he was ok tbh, but he's never a goal scorer, which is a bit worrying considering he's a ST.

I really doubt Rodgers wanted him. Even if has endorsed him since signing him, he is 3rd choice striker at a championship side. Any manager who throws away the league like this has to get the boot though. Imagine if it was Lennon or any manager we'd taken a punt on?.

I think Rodgers wanted way better than him but the board unsurprisingly failed to deliver, but think he is Rodgers last minute punt. He’s went overboard in talking him up. Not the boys fault and does have some qualities but nowhere near what we need.

Have seen every ball he’s kicked for Ireland and he’s pretty poor tbf. How many good chances has me missed since he joined us? What a load of bollocks.

If the club and/or Rodgers genuinely thought him and Kuhn were gonna boost us to the league then we are in a lot worse of a situation than we all even think.

Okay outside the box. Absolutely useless inside it.

    Brilliant for a striker.

It's not really his fault, but it's what happens when you're the striker in a team that's struggling to score, especially when the best striker in Scotland is being played out of position to accommodate you. You absolutely have to be scoring goals. Not only is Idah not, you can tell by watching him he's just never going to be a clinical goal scorer.

Kyogo has been scoring “out of position” and couldn’t get a sniff before.

You bring in a guy with an underwhelming goal record and what do you expect. Miovski was staring us straight in the face.

One of those goals was inside the box because someone finally got the ball to him, the other was a good run from deep but not that different from goals we've seen him score under Ange. I hope he goes on a run now and I can eat my words but I do think the failure to get Kyogo firing this season is an immense failure on Brendan's part. It shouldn't have taken until mid-February for a guy coming off a 35 goal season to get going (though I do definitely accept no Jota and for the most part Hatate have hurt him too).

Playing him ahead of Oh just highlights the incompetence with Rodgers, basically the same style of player yet we only own one of them. Oh never got the chance playing up top with Kyogo, yet this dud does within a few penalties.

I haven't been able to watch the game today, but I also suspect we haven't used him to the fullest. Strikers like him demand a far more direct style of play than the one Rodgers prefers. Oh is much the same.

He’s alright, did little wrong. Offers something different and has strength and a nice touch.

At Celtic that will only take you so far as a striker though, you have to score and score regularly.

He's a big honest lad who will graft but he's just not good enough. Which is pretty much what any Tim who'd seen him play said before he signed. How are the people responsible for bringing players to the club not able to see the obvious?
