You could put prime Ronaldo up front and it wouldn't make a huge difference if we continue to play the slow, tedious, side to side, eye-bleedingly poor football that we're playing at the moment.

I'm honestly stunned at how someone can take a team that was so effective and essentially ruin them in the space of just a few months. It's embarrassing.

 

Celtic playing at home with 72% of the ball. 5 shots on target (4 were in the first half).

Killie had 6 shots on target in the game wih less than 30% of the ball, and nearly all of those shots came after the HT break.

This season Celtic are now P4 W1 D1 L2 v Killie.

Brendan Rodgers HT team talks must be absolute the worst. All season when we have played well in the first half, whether in the league or in Europe it doesn't matter, it's like he just says 'done well, go out, keep it up'.

Every opposition manager meanwhile is looking at what Celtic have done in that first period and devised a strategy for the second half, makes the changes, either in formation, tactics or substitutions, and leaves Rodgers looking completely clueless in comparison.

That is exactly what McInnes did here. In the second half he had them push up, look to put pressure on us at the back, which rattled the defenders and forced mistakes. That gave them the momentum, and in the end it paid off.

The thing is, it's no surprise, because it's literally the EXACT same effin' thing that McInnes & Killie did back in December and it has worked again. All it does is make Rodgers look even more clueless.

Rodgers' personal record against Killie now is P14 W7 D3 L4.

 

People will the blame the board or the performances of some players but the facts are what we have on the pitch are good enought to beat the like of kily etc.etc.

Its simple Rodgers is *,its become the norm for us to play *,teams no longer fear us and we have become a joke.We will be the same in our next game as we have been the last few games and that is *.

Forget about blaming individual players or the board(they are partly to blame i know)the buck stops with Rodgers,you give our squad to any other manager in the leauge and you will see an imediate improvement in these players we have,rodgers destroys players,we have zero desire,zero passion,and zero belive and the opposition know it.

 

That second half was so bad, possibly the worst I've seen watching us live. Couldn't get out our own half vs Kilmarnock. Rodgers now routinely getting bossed by the likes of McInnes and some players need a rocket up the * and/or punted too.

 

I didn't say they should just punt it up the park I just think our CB's see far more of the ball than they need to.

 

I thought the backline were fine. We just don't shoot! Wonder what the stats are man, a billion passes side to side and maybe half a * shot.

I thought us V Atletico was as good as I'd ever seen us even under Ange. But we are absolutely hellish to watch the now. Need to sort it pronto.

 

Another shocking display ..I said couple weeks ago that sevco will win the league .after seeing this pish today I think they will win by at least 12 points . There fans few months ago predicting doom n gloom now there talking about a treble and a Final in Dublin ffs .football we are playing is like the Lou mcari days ..

 

Been on here since BR arrived and even earlier on today saying stop being negative and start giving BR our full support but finding it harder and harder...I might now sound like a hypocrite but we can't do what we done with NL...wanted him to be success but if board competent at all will be ruthless and at least give us a chance as shaping up right now like pandemic year

 

That's how I feel mate.

I've been downright near depressed at times this season when we've failed to win games and that's when we were well ahead.

This just felt expected today. Getting used to it

 

Don't know what to say anymore. Everything has been said about our performances and why we're slowly falling behind the huns. We've been sleepwalking to lose this title race. The happy clappers may still can explain me why Rodgers is turning it around, after failling to do so for months and only conitnueingly losing the 11 point lead.

 

Terrible game to watch ,so frustrating and I can see this title going to them this year , many many issues in this team , idah never Good enough, kuhn worse than mj who had just started to get goals and let go , the players not playing fir Rogers, and Rogers not happy with the backing again , we have managed to make kyogo look ordinary in less than 1 year oh never good enough ,we are back to taking punts on players big big problems atm .

League gone .rodgers can go anytime. Until we physically remove this board from our club this will continue.HH

 

Genuinely would rather McInnes at this stage, average spl side, average spl manager. The board are * scumbags...

 

Was gonna go out to see a band and that can get tae * now.

 

Sevco will be in a different financial league from us and will dominate for years because of this board.. Idah sums us up .. free header in front of open goal mistimes header , heads fresh air - he is basically an English 2nd division Norwich reject .. ffs what are we doing!!!???

The really depressing thing is that whether Rodgers goes or not it doesn’t make a difference … the only managers we’ll appoint will be the ones who will accept whatever this out of touch, ancient, Tory board dictates.


Their arrogance and unwillingness to actually strengthen is a cancer on our club.

 

Lots of games to go... 2 against them . Not conceding ... but our play these last 5 / 6 games has been appalling . Brendan has had his chance ..his style of play/ tactics are so one sided he isn't and hasn't been a major tactician ever even at Leicester.
I want him gone and NOW ...he is stifling us and the players .. we have never been as bad as this since the covid years. BRENDAN DO US AND YOURSELF A FAVOUR.. GO NOW WHEN YOU HAVE SOME SORT OF CREDIBILITY. YOUR TIME HERE IS UP. AND I'm still not conceding this league to they *.
