Probably best to continue this in another thread, and leave this one for the football.

Nah you're alright, I already agreed with you.

The green brigade are truly detestable for showing support for the Palestinian people, when all the Israeli army want to do is murder every Palestinian man, woman, and child.

You're right to be sickened that they would sing a song in their honour.

I hope he sticks with the same shape as he did vs st mirren and let Kyogo and Idah form a relationship.

I'm actually quite looking forward to this one. Feels like Rodgers has a bit more fire in his belly after the st mirren win and we can put all the negativity of the January window behind us.

    2 0 Celtic.

    I agree, I think they'd make a beautiful couple.

I’d agree with that sadly, the first banner was horrendous and since then every statement from them is very vague language around what they actually support, and for me it doesn’t read like condemnation for Hamas and just support against the horrific acts and conditions the normal people, mostly children, in Palestine are facing.

Which is baffling to me, because Hamas beliefs are so far away from what the GB support in general it’s inadvisable.

However, it’s not just them driving the support for Palestine within our support, and really Scotland in general.

Massaging their own egos etc is a load of pish though, of all the things that can be aimed at them at times - not having passion in their beliefs is far from it.

As this is meant to be a match thread I don't want to post too much here. However what I meant by massaging their own egos, is the way the get a hard on every time they get a mention on Al Jeezera or such like, but more so their "hollier than thou" attitude that they are they only Celtic supporters concerned about the plight of the Palestinian people because they displayed a banner in support of a monsterous barbaric attack by Hamas, and then see themselves also as persecuted people because the were banned for a few weeks.

As Billy Connoly would say " Oh * off"

This has been the only time I’m not right aggressively on the side of the GB mate, I disagree with most of what you’ve said about them here but think for them to push me so far away from them just now, they’ve * up in my mind, because even when they’ve done some daft stuff in the past, I’ve been at the back of the jist of the opinion or protest they’re sticking their necks out on.

That first banner and how they’ve reacted though? No, not for me. And not consistent with their own beliefs theyve made clear over the years either.

But also since then, it’s been shown how obvious it is we * need them at Celtic Park. Games they were banned, Celtic Park was a hinderance more than anything.

We're due 2 things a big performance and a win against this mob.

Hopefully both combine tomorrow and we can start to build some momentum off it.

Do we need them enough to allow them to tarnish the memory of Joseph Plunkett ?

"Grace" is a song about Grace Gifford getting married to Joseph Plunkett in Kilmainham just hours before he was murdered by the Brits.

How many women children and babies did Joseph Plunkett multilate and kill, and although there is some dispute about the rapes, I belive there were at least some.

I would implore the Green Brigade to reconsider.

Please do not tarnish the memory of Plunkett and others by associating them with the barbaric attack of Octber 7th

He sounds pretty tarnished already from what you’ve said there mate :56:

I’ve just this second realised, I have no idea about the actual backstory to Grace. I’ll need to have a swatch, I’ve stopped singing Sean South for years, despite it being my favourite rebel… because he was a * *
