I though Rodgers spoke really well on the subject. Just odd we didn't look to move him on in January when it would be be easier than trying to do so now.

Any word on whether James McCarthy is also out of the picture just now due to the ongoing British occupation of Ireland?

We don’t know what conversations have been had in the background or conversations that have been aimed at him from those back home when he’s came back into the team - it reads to me anyway from the outside, he thought he was fine. He got a cracking reaction from the crowd when he came back, since then though and him coming back in to the fold - playing a few games. We don’t know if he’s faced a backlash that hasn’t been made public, I’d be surprised if he hasn’t tbh. And after the window shut and he came in a few games, it did look like something had majorly changed in him.

Could even be hearing a few daft comments aimed at him from our crowd, and the heart going out of him - zero evidence of that btw, but I don’t think it’s outwith the realms of possibility.

We also could have been trying to shift him on, and the move just wasn’t there that was feasible, and that’s why we’ve signed Kuhn so we have another option on the RW.

Huns are loving this. A player who terrorised their defence refusing to play for us, whilst also giving them an excuse to make snidey remarks about Palestine.

Can't wait til big Idah slots home the winning penalty at Ibrox and celebrates by flexing the big tricolour on his bicep towards all the snarling orcs. Tiocfaidh ár lá :ireland: :palstine:

Honestly mate, who the * cares about their opinions on *. There’s pictures of them floating about doing * salutes flying the Israeli flag and the Union Jack at the same time. Bizarre creatures full existence is reactionary to us. If you ever get the chance to play Protestant Men from the Wolfetones infront of one of them do it, the absolute confusion is * outstanding.

Yet another issue that the club never thought it was a good idea to loan him out last month.

Absolutely farcical situation now. Not long signed a new deal and unable to play football for us.

I’ve never been more scunnered with a combined on and off pitch season in all my life.

We refuse to do ourselves any favours sometimes.

I don’t entirely blame Abada for feeling off about us, but I do blame him for picking up a wage.

Aye annoys me that he can still pick up his thousands and thousands per week whilst being allowed to not bother trying for us.

I get that might be harsh, but doesn’t sit right with me

I think we have been constantly communicating with him and thought it’d be worthwhile him being here, it really looks to me like something changed in recent weeks since then.

And yes, it is probably a situation that we should have envisioned being very capable of happening, I wasn’t one of them though. I took it as we’ve been all through the club keeping up the lines of communication with him, and he’s happy to continue. Previously with Bitton similar situations did happen, and it didn’t effect the football or stuff on the pitch. He’s younger and also it’s a bigger deal as well, I wanted a fully fit and on form Abada for the run in so probably was clouded by hoping it’d work out like that.

But really, it’s an obvious situation in January, and we could have loaned him to a decent level to recoup the fee he should be worth in the summer. I imagine the likes of Ajax at the moment would have jumped on the opportunity

2009 WGS last season for me, or funny enough the summer we bought Van Dijk are my top ones. But this is up there.

Covid year we * it majorly off the pitch, I was actually very happy with our business :56:

Your assumptions could be well wrong. What about my assumption that he just doesn't want to play for us because he supports Israel in what they are doing in palastine and he just doesn't want to speak the truth untill he's left the country or even untill his career is finished.

His body language has spoken volumes to me and with that, he can GTF!

I do believe he's getting stick but I also believe he supports Israel.

Then that’d have been made clear to management and board, and he’d have been shifted on. His body language visibly changed last two games we seen him, majorly. That, him now being on a time out to sort his head out, the managers comments about the situation and how clear it is that it was a situation we were in constant communication with him about from the first banner at Celtic Park onwards. His return from injury he got some reception and was visibly buzzing.

It’s speculation all round, I could be full of *, but that’s my read on the situation. I think he’d have been loaned out if he made it clear he couldn’t perform here in the circumstances.

Time to move him on. He'll have know long before the conflict started about a large section of our support being pro Palestine, so it doesn't wash with me if that's what's playing on his mind.

If it's because he has family in the middle of the conflict, then his head will justifiably be elsewhere, and hopefully his family remain safe.

Either way we cannot afford passengers here. Best he is moved on.

To be fair with that as well, he’s had government officials and everything commenting on him being here. With stuff previously when Bitton was here, it didn’t reach such a scale.

This should've been dealt with in January.

We all know he was moving on in the summer at the very latest.

We all know his politics and ours don't match up. I'm fine with that, but I'm surprised that this is a surprise to him.

We all suspected that this was the case. The club would've definitely been aware of internally. He should've been sold in January.

He's no gonna kick a ball again for us.
