would it be ok for joe hart to down tools every time he hears an ira tune from the crowd ? i get what you saying its up to abada to act like a professional ,he should have been away in jan if thats how he feels but the celtic fans support of palestine really shouldnt have come as a surprise to him

If the IRA committed a terror attack on his country, murdering 1200 innocent people, potentially impacting his direct family and friends, and Celtic fans decided their immediate response was to cheer on the IRA, then yes of course Joe Hart would be ok to 'down tools' for a while. It's absolutely mental that people don't have enough empathy to think this wouldnt be an a perfectly normal and reasonable response from a footballer.

The case of Abada is even more extreme than that extreme example as one single photo of him celebrating a goal or a win with a support flying a Palestine flag could lead to very real threats against him and his family. We have no idea what the guy is going through but if I was him I wouldnt be in the right frame of mind to play either.

It went beyond calling out genocide when some actually showed support for the atrocity committed on the 7th October. Massive * difference that.

Very few, if any, people on here knows enough to make any kind of knowledgeable judgment, so please don't.
Just support the lad when he's on the park, he's still a Celtic player.

He’s probably finished for us, but everyone and their mother getting on his case will not help (while I understand the frustration, obviously).

if he was worried about threats from nut jobs for having a palestinian flag nearby he should never have ventured outside of israel .why didnt he leave in january if he is so upset ,probably thought he had more options than he has but he could have forced through a move somewhere else had it * him off that much

You are maybe happy to show support for a murder spree that included rape, mutilation, kidnap (a * baby included) and common theft then you crack on but the majority of decent people find that absolutely abhorrent thankfully.
If * seriously want to show support for the above they really are vermin.

I think that's what got us here.
Israel bad, anything opposed to Israel good.
I think - allthough I might be wrong- that if there was more knowledge of the utterley despicable nature of the Hamas attack before the banner was flown, then it might not have been flown.

If Abada was a physically injured player rather than a mentally conflicted one, I'd expect the descision as to wether or not he was fit to play, to be taken out of his hands.

But it's not so simple to take away his right to stay or go out on loan. But I would ask did Celtic do enough to make sure he fully understood how difficult he might find it once on the park.

Abada obviously thought he could handle it, obviously he cant.

Don't forget the Hamas attack isn't something that happened, due to the continued holding of hostages it is STILL happening.

I’m glad you find it funny although that further highlights the mentality/level of IQ you have.

If this happened to Russians i would have exactly the same views son but you being a wee putin * swallower wont allow you to grasp that.

I’m getting, incorrectly judged, by something like you with the show support for rapists etc … priceless, utterly priceless.

We just don't know do we. Maybe there were no offers? There wasn't much activity in January so good chance noone came in for him. Maybe Celtic didn't want him to leave. Maybe he has friends and family in Glasgow who he wants to stay close to.

It not a question of him feeling * off. It's a very difficult situation that could ruin the guys career or even his life back home. Don't know why you wouldn't give the guy benefit of doubt.

If he goes fair enough. Not really a great miss tbh the way it's been the past 12 months. We'll both move on and hopefully do better.

abada should be breaking his neck to improve and play his football here ,he is a decent player but he is nowhere near first team standard id say ive already been giving him the benefit of doubt . i think rodgers needs to stop trying to be mates with players ,its perhaps fostering the wrong attitude where the players do as they please ,had it before with griffiths and boyata refusing to play

Would he be struggling to force himself to play for us if we were in the latter stages of European competition? Would he *

His snakey * agent has told him to use the genocide as an excuse to go back on his word to Rodgers and try to work himself a transfer in January, and now hes taken a huff because it didnt happen.

I'd make him play in the development squad for the rest of his contract, and batter his * in daily. Wee pretend IDF supporting worm.
