Doesn't look great. Had a great opportunity to score today and blew. Drifted in and out of games. Was unable to get the better of Gogic or the St Mitten defence.

stupid to devolop a player for somone else when we own a player just as good ,in fact im sure rodgers make a big deal of not getting bodies in for the sake of it yet here we are

 

We’re better with him playing - with Kyogo in behind - but he’s not exactly Dembele, is he? :/

 

and that should be vented at the recruitment team more than Rodgers as they clearly didn’t have much lined up. And who’s to say we don’t buy him in the summer depending on how he does

 

Think he's fine for these games. Creates space for others through his physicality.

 

rodgers has no idea how to create a chance for a striker ,* knows why hes playing ahead of kyogo its a pathetic attempt of divert attention away from rodgers own failings ,oh is our player and every bit as good as idah he should be getting game time .i will be * sick if we sign idah in the summer nowhere near good enough

 

I don't see the negativity. He's not amazing and I doubt he was Rodgers' first choice; but he does allow Rodgers the flexibility to play a different way that seems to suit our current squad better. It was striking how the game changed when he went off. Importantly, he seems to be someone Rodgers actually wanted for a change. Of all the signings we made in these 2 windows, only he and Palma seem to be starters when everyone is fit, which is a damning indictment of our recruitment.

We've been crying out for a bit of height and strength since Giakoumakis left. He's also a bit quicker than I thought.

 

Our opener this afternoon came from Idah taking away a defender in the box providing Kyogo with the space to make a late run into.

 

what point are you trying to make here , the chance still wasnt created for the striker but for kyogo who was playing in midfield

 

You crybabies constantly surprise me. Even after a good win in a tough cup game you're still huffing and chuffing over a lot of pish.

So you'd have been happier if Kyogo passed up the opportunity to score today because you don't think we should be creating chances for the player in the number 10 role, even if they are a striker by trade.

I thought he should've thrown his weight around more today.

I was quite disappointed. Didn't seem to want to challenge in the air at any point.

 

I wasn't particularly impressed with him. Maybe he can grow into the role but the finishing is a concern.

Talking utter * OH doesn’t score both those penalties at Hibs midweek and that’s fact. Idah has had a decent impact so far we create chances if you look at the stats we don’t take them is the problem. Playing ahead of a guy not playing well at all who has looked off it recently sometimes changing the team or taking someone out for a game or two can re focus them etc. I will wait till I see OH in another team or league before I make a proper statement like that

oh is our player our focus should be on improving him ,saying he couldnt have scored two penaltys is pure guesswork not a fact .idah was in the same position today as kyogo was every other week ,no supply
