Think people need to remember we’re missing Johnston CCV Taylor and Hatate. It’s a lot to be missing, all nailed on starters. That was a good win. We had a lot more control of the game after we took the lead.

A brave defensive performance puts cardboard over the cracks, not mere paper. I really wish we'd just clear our lines immediately under pressure.

I feel more hopeful after today.

I see our main problem being unable to score goals and keep the tempo high, usually because we take the easy option of going wide at the buildup and then doing nothing.

Kyogo playing part of the Hatate role made a massive difference. We could finally play through the middle and pivot our attack off of someone.

As if to hammer the point home, when he was removed from that role we had very little.

If we learn from this I think we might get through this season.

Scales and Welsh were good at tackling, blocking and winning 50 50s but they gave away so many * passes, mainly Scales. Essentially covering for their own poor play.

We just need to work hard and grind out these wins for the rest of this season. A couple of goals and a clean sheet is a decent shift even though on another day st mirren could have scored a few.

It's not great but never was going to be great.

Agreed. Oh, Idah, Yang, Kuhn, Berna not good enough for the squad. A few more should only be reserves. We need 8 proper players in the summer - good luck with that, says you :/

But we've been * with hatate start of the season also with Taylor and Johnson.

Biggest loss this season has been the manager by a country mile

The way he's played this season, Ralston might actually be an improvement on Johnston. He's been so far off the AJ of last season so far.

Think that was better, even though not at our best, wasn't as hair raising at the back.

Fantastic result. That's one of the toughest tests we can face domestically, against a team that thrives on causing us upsets, and we passed it quite comfortably.

Probably couldn’t have had a harder tie when our form been poor, poor pitch so can’t argue with that, st Mirren only lost to the Huns at home went twice now and scored 5 and conceded 0, hopefully ccv and hatate back soon

Hatate is the biggest miss for me, amazing what he brings to the attack. We've only conceded 2 in 5 since the break (with several defenders out), goals is what we are missing.
