A lot of the pressure came from hart flapping at cross balls as good as he was against hibs hart during corners and crosses is a bomb scare
If a remember correctly the ball in from obita rebounds off of berni then youan skies it … for me hart was weak when cross was coming in all defenders were expecting him to come out and punch it

The Hibs performance showed (as we know) he is full of energy, keen to tie up their right-sided players further up the field and can put in telling tackle.....so the negatives, holding position, awareness, defending first.....I would have thought these must be the kind of thing you can coach into him.....surely a side line scream of "stay put" would mean he was in the right place when needed......not saying it is all the coaching staff's fault, but the club should be able to take some of these rough edges off.....

Was at fault for the Aberdeen goal and Boyle and Miller both missed sitters that came from his side, he's not good enough I'm afraid.

We’d lost our shape and had him very high up the pitch, almost as an attacking midfielder at that point. With Ralston hanging further back and tucking in as a sort of lopsided 3 at the back by the time of Miller’s sitter anyway, I can’t actually remember Boyle’s so won’t comment there.

I don’t think he’s good enough long term, but Hibs game he was one of our better players, not just that he stood up to be counted when the chips were down, he pushed high up the pitch winning the ball back, was 2nd only to Ralston in terms of tackles made and interceptions, was top of key passes made in the game and honestly, one of they key balls, he showed sheer desire and a great end product that Idah should have buried, and when he didn’t Kyogo should have.

Our two fullbacks were a major part of getting 3 points the other night, him and Ralston probably showed the most fight, desire and boldness in demanding the ball to push forward.

Too late in the day for Bernabei to make it here most likely, but coming in out of the cold, he’s shown a good attitude and done enough for the fans to get off his back - for one, it’s not his fault we need to rely on him.

Let's not pretend he is good enough because he ran about like a headless chicken on Wed night. Lacks technical and tactical ability, no awareness and runs into trouble. It's a a reflection of our team that he gets a jersey. Would be better blooding a youth player in the position now.

It's a reflection of our team that someone running about a lot and trying hard is now getting some praise

For the money he cost us I expect more, and so should all fans. Not his fault but he should never have been signed. One of a long list of failed project players and false gems.

Really it should be a given for the whole team. Just doesn't appear to be the case this season.

    I agree.

He was decent mid week but even in what we'd class as a decent game for him he was still giving me heart palpitations.

Frame if fit, has to surely be a better option.

That would be my guess too, but either he's not fit, or not showing it in training if he's not even making the bench.

I'd still like to see him get more minutes either way to find out. With Johnston looking to be out for a few games and Taylor not quite there if he's not on the bench at least tomorrow I'd guess he must be injured. We are literally an injury away from not having 2 FBs, never mind their backups.

Showed a lot more maturity today. Wasnt diving in. Played nice and calm. made a few good runs down the wing. Passing can improve but he played like he was actually thinking 2 steps ahead instead of just running to the ball like a scjool kid at lunch time.
    Motm today for us

Not getting ahead of myself, but I think Alexandro Bernabei might be the best full back in Celtic's history.

Much better today, still think defensively he doesn't help with us moving the ball out and pulls the whole back 4 left to provide cover, but much more encouraging.

Fair play to the boy, he's been good last few games. Keep it up.
