If it’s really £6m to buy him, I’m leaning of the side of not purchasing him.

Seems to be going backwards after some really strong displays.

Still a must sign if it's a reasonable fee. Rodgers is making almost every player in the squad look like dog *. Bernardo clearly has ability and I feel he'd be one we'd regret not signing.

MOR will bring us in £25m+. Bring Bernardo in.

If we're hoping to bring in a new manager next season (hopefully), you want players with ability and intelligence that he can work with. Bernardo is exactly that. Think it's imperative we sign him since we'll obviously we losing Matt.

Gave away stupid needless fouls, causing the loss of possession. Irritated the * out me tonight. The 3 of Cal, Matt and him is far to slow and 1 dimensional. But he makes a nice quartet to rotate around I'd we can keep Reo fit.

I like him but as has been said before, him and MOR are just too similar. Very poor balance to the midfield.

Nae balance to the midfield is correct.

Needs power and pace in there etc etc the usual thing I've been saying and many others have too, for about 5 year.

Hatate and Iwata are a big miss. Both quick and powerful lads. Iwata should come into the team at the weekend

We need Iwata or Hatate back for more balance and agility.

He played a good through ball for one of our chances, as did O'Riley for Maeda in the first half. We're not scoring from open play at the moment, so the wide players should be doing more too.

What I can’t get my head around is how does our midfield 3 go from dominating a game against our nearest challengers to struggling against Graeme Shinnie and then Joe Newell?

Two players who have been bossed by Celtic more times than I care to remember and one of them bossed by our on loan centre midfielder just at the weekend there.

We really need to change our shape or do something as our performances since the break are getting worse.

I don't think Hatate is overly quick, more meaning someone like Lundstram at the Huns but a better version. Just someone quite physically imposing and ability to get about the park and do the simple things well.

Again, not a great example but I feel we've missed a player like that for years. In with a proper CDM. Suppose I want a combination of both ideally.

Similar to how o'riley and rogic struggled to play together and to a lesser extent Oriley and Turnbull.

Would change to a 4231 and have o'riley in beside Mcgregor and try Palma as a 10

Only really cause he plays on the left and the ball went down the left near enough every time.

Him, Bernabei and Maeda probably had double the touches compared to Ralston, O'Riley and Kuhn/Abada.

Welsh usually passes a ball forward or even takes it on a run forward when he plays but he looked to be carrying an injury from early and just kept passing it to Scales which ended up with Scales being the one who passed it forward near enough every time so the ball was always down the left side.

Strangely, someone posted the highlights of Kwon vs Hibs, and he did exactly that.

He offered more than MOR from an industry point of view but definitely not from a quality one.

MOR played some absolutely silk KDB like through balls tonight.

Far too quiet, not doing enough to influence the game. Midfield was the one area I thought we had sorted, now all 3 of them have lost form. Shitshow.

You don't always have to look for the cause in the same place as the effect. When you have the strongest midfield in the league and all 3 lose form at the same time, it suggests the problem is not the midfield.

In my opinion, it's the back 4.

    Ralston Welsh/Nawrocki Scales Bernabei

    No words.

What do you think they are doing that affects the midfield so much?
