Yep, midfield is a major problem now, not doing enough defensively, and lacking energy, speed of pass, and movement when we're attacking. It's push it wide or play it back, then stand still. Screaming out for Hatate + something else...... Calmac, MOR, and Bernardo are not cutting it, and that's against spfl level opposition. Simply not good enough.

Not involved enough but some of his passes were outstanding.

Was poor. Not really in the game at all. Good thing is we know he's capable of much more but not sure he's played well at all the last 3/4 matches.

So much for being the single player Rodgers has improved.

Would play Mcgregor in his position and Holm/Bernardo in Mcgregors role.

His form was always gonna dip. Let's be honest.

Sadly its come at a * time but we'd also be so much more worse off without him.

    I wouldn't even say he's dipped.

Last few games him, McGregor, Abada/Kuhn even Kyogo and Idah have hardly had a kick of the ball.

We're watching CCV/Welsh/Nawrocki playing chuckle brothers football with Scales then Scales passing to Bernabei and back and round in circles and the odd ball gets chipped forward or Bernabei passes it to Maeda or Palma.

It's some of the worst stuff i've ever watched.

Would liken it to the dark days under Strachan where everybody stood in formation and we just passed balls to McGeady to beat men and put a cross in. Workman like boring football only we're doing it now without a guy doing that everycunt just passing it about for the fun of it and nobody in any space to move or nothing.

We probably conceded better chances to Ross County, Aberdeen and Hibs than we had ourselves and we had an average of about 70% possession and almost all the ball in their halves.

Always seems to be hiding in games where we're up against combative midfield that actually has some technical quality.

Need to develop a lot more on his aggression. Simply doesn't offer enough physicality at times when we really need it. Him and Bernardo were absolutely anonymous last night.

Don’t think he’d do well in Spain after seeing him the last few games under pressure, watched a lot of Spanish games this year and the central midfielders of most teams have adopted the physical role. Especially against the current Atletico team to try beat them man for man in their midfield.
Needs to show a lot more from now til then or I think teams will have a second think

The doubt I would have is how poor he is on his right foot. In Spain most players are very technically sound so having someone always having to get the ball on his good foot won’t be great for keeping up the speed of play.

Don’t get me wrong he has been a cracking signing and is a very good player on his day.

When Hibs in the second half are taking the game to us you know our midfield is struggling and we are constantly now playing the same three which is not good and with 2 of our midfielders injured and we sell Turnbull and don't replace him and put kwon on loan as well the organisation at the club is * * level .

His spell ended the moment Kilmarnock equalised at Rugby Park back in December.

He's been poor since Christmas, he was almost carrying us through games beforehand.

He'll be gone in the summer, 100%, but hopefully before then he finds his form again, we all know he's a player.

It's funny you say that, I was just thinking in that second half today (I didn't see the first half) that it was like watching Strachan's team without Naka or McGeady. Even that's a bit harsh on WGS's team TBH. We've been poor all season; but since the break, we've been outplayed both halves by Hibs (who were robbed), one half each by Aberdeen and Killie and even for a 15-minute spell against St Mirren. Getting outplayed by SPL teams so regularly is something I can't remember seeing before, not even under Ronny.
