It isn't but that would be him not acting as a starter either. I'd take a 15 goal contribution from your reserve/third choice.

Currently his record as a winger is nowhere near what is required from a starter in the celtic XI either yet people still want him to start. 3 goals and 3 assists in 22 games.

I agree totally on his technical side and have said it a lot of times.

    He's * awful.

The myth that we can't live without him needs to die.

"People can't see what he brings."

The fannies that come out with that are hilarious. The guy is an imposter of a footballer. If he didn't have about 20 lungs he'd be playing in the Japanese 3rd tier.

Would love to see the stats for that game. Every attack he's at the front of broke down other than an offside cross for Idah.

I can't think of a worse player on the ball than him, for his position, in my time supporting celtic.

Abada runs him close mind you. Christ.

The one time he manages to actually wrap his foot around the ball into the box m Idah misses a tap in from an offside position..

The amount of times attacks break down because of his lack of technical ability is criminal.

I genuinely must watch a different game at times from some reading the comments.

His work rate in both directions was excellent and he was the only one actually taking a man on for pace.

His ability to sprint the length of the pitch at lightning speed just to shin the ball straight into the nearest defender is unmatched

He’s brutal. If he’s a key player for us then the shirts have definitely shrunk to fit inferior players.

How many times did he kill an attack stone dead because his decision making is poor? Or even worse, his passing and first touch.

Within 40 seconds of the second half he failed to control a simple pass in the Hibs box. Few minutes later he somehow managed to sprint the ball out of the pitch for a goal kick.

His work rate is brilliant but it doesn't mask his complete lack of technical ability.

He works hard, aye, but whether he takes on his man or not, play breaks down so often with him. It's chronic to watch

His work rate is indisputable. But in terms of chances created, I can think of one cross, with a handful of attacks broken down due to his poor technique. He's arguably more frustrating than Samaras ever was.

Idah can finish he has an assist from an excellent passage of play.

His technical ability is inconsistent, not completely lacking. Did you see his goal at the very same ground last season that was goal of the season contender?

He was probably our best winger today but he was * *. His touch is absolutely abominable. I’m convinced there’s probably a bunch of people on this forum with a better first touch than him. It’s * embarrassing on his part. Surely he can just do a * load of individual training and improve it. It’s shocking. As I said in the match thread if he wasn’t fast he’d be working at McDonald’s.

He's never going to change, even in Ange's system there was glaring deficiencies, its even more evident in whatever system Rodgers is trying to play.

I know he signed a new deal, but id be moving him on in the summer.
