Mcstay was phenomenal his ball control, passing, shooting with both feet, as you say unfortunately played in a time the Huns cheated like * with millions they didn’t have so were streaks ahead as a team, totally agree Mcstay would be excellent in that team just now and edges it for me as an all round better player, all down to opinions though

 

He was absolutely phenomenal yesterday but in all honesty apart from yesterday and 1 or 2 other games aside he’s been pretty pish this season compared to his usual standard

It’s funny as * aye, but I’d rather that at the end of the season when we’ve trophies, rather than during it halfway through when it could be 2 points after games in hand.


Jobs far from finished, don’t give ammo. But the rhetoric around our slump in form, and pressure he’s faced for the first time really up here, clearly its * him off. Funnel that into the team and performances. All it takes is slipping up at St Mirren and yesterday doesn’t count

 

He needs more support from others in terms of that match controlling ability he has. There’s not enough on that park capable of driving the team the way he does.

Mentioned it in another thread but we really need more vocal players, respected players that when heard are listened to.

We’re incredibly lucky this man rarely misses a minute of football. Without him, with this team, I shudder at the thought of it to be honest. Nice footballers but barely any grit when the going gets tough.

 

Was poor yesterday, seems like if he plays poorly, team as a unit, plays poorly.

 

These next two games he needs to be absolutely 10/10.. he's done it before, he needs to drive the team on, he will know the significance of getting 6 points over the next two games

Not himself today. Almost cost us a goal, but he wasn't exactly getting any help.

He's been absolutely * for most of the season.

 

Not having a good season at all. Today was particularly poor,

 

Not enough drive when he got on the ball. He has the ability to absolutely breeze past players when he gets the head down. But he never seems to do it anymore. Just wants to make sure the ball safety makes its way out wide.
