I do agree with you. But sadly winning the league with this team will backfire as well as the board will think our transfer "strategy" worked and, hence, won't invest more in the future.

We're turning in circles with this board.

 

What the duck did he say at HT? came out a completely different side and not one for the better

 

You can go on about the board as much as you like but we still have better players than Aberdeen (and Hearts, Motherwell, St J etc etc) so the problem has to be tactics. We dominated the 1st half but were toothless and even when they attacked us in the 2nd half we didn't create enough. He's just not a good enough manager.
Having said that we're stuck with him and these players so we have to try to stick together and support them until the end of the season.

 

We've been * all season, poor performances on a near weekly basis, surrendered a cup in the first game, lost a massive lead at the top of the table, chronic football, crap substitutions and team selections, you could go on and on.

Not Rodgers' fault though, got nothing to do with him..

Give me strength.

 

He’s not the manager he was. We’ve seen this story a million times in sports.

The football has been consistently very poor from day one.

Now dropped points in more than 1 in 3 against ‘the rest’, which is pretty abysmal.

We needed big action in the window and we didn’t even come close. We’ll move into the slow death phase soon.

 

There is players in that squad that are so far off form it's unreal but we can't drop them because there either isn't a backup or the backup is worse

 

He's supposed to be a manager. Every game we have the same problem. Dominate but can't score. Maybe change the tactics. Kyogo could score for Ange. So too could Abada

 

His football is * gash, no penetration at all. Clueless when in the final third.

He should * off.

 

I still say another manager would have us winning. Postecoglu would have this team winning.
The problem is in the dugout. * style of fitba coached by what sounds like a manic depressant trying to sound enthusiastic.

The words might come out his gub but they’re hollow and uninspiring.

This all day long. O’Riley is having a dip on form and Bernardo wasn’t very good either today. Our bench had Holm as the only CM. Hatate and Iwata the other oltions.

 

It's the regression in so many players that terrifies me.

Taylor, Johnston, McGregor, Kyogo are all far worse than last season. O'Riley the one standout.

As poor as the squad is, I honestly believe a different manager is what we need, these players are far better than what we're showing.

 

I think things are beginning to look more and more like Rodgers getting the axe.

 

He is simply not the answer. He's completely lost my support.

 

If he references anything about transfers or squad depth in the window I'll drive him to the airport for his next job in Saudi

 

I think he's done. I don't think he knows how to change this and even if he did he doesn't have the players to do it anyway..

Today's game, shocking decisions on the subs.

• Bernardo was much better than O'Reilly and McGregor - but he's an easier sub to make. McGregor had an absolute 'back and sideways passing' shocker. O'Reilly poor, head turned by Athletico?
• Nawrocki should have been off waaaay earlier, should have been red carded for 2 yellows.
• Ralston at LB, seriously? worst case you put Johnston over to left let the more limited Ralston play natural position. Or even better, don't take Bernabei off.
• Palma was done (or couldn't be arsed) at 60mins and either way Vata is nowhere near ready for first team
• Abada, if he's like that in training, is simply not interested and should not have started instead of Kuhn

So agree the board should get it tight, but BR is not getting best from what he has.

 

Rodgers doesn’t even know what to say anymore, he’s done and i don’t blame him.
