Brendan Rodgers Discussion Thread

If we lose today Rodgers has a decision to make. Does he walk again or stay and call out the board for not backing him for his transfer targets. Seems like Deja vu all over again. Something will need to give

 

Not defending the board but how many of that Aberdeen team would be happy to have bought. Manager is far from blameless if we can't win.

I'd like to see board and manager gone equally

 

I feel like he should either walk or get sacked in a few minutes,but if he goes we’ll still have the same problems,players and board.It’s going to get ugly now that’s all I know for a fact.

He has to go. Incapable of arresting the slide we are on.

Board and recruitment haven't helped him but he just isn't getting enough out of what is available to him.

How anyone can defend this man's "football" is beyond me. * crazy.

 

He should've been sacked long ago but it's very obvious he's just another tumour in the cancer at this club right now. I don't get why people are so adamant to insist he's some victim of the board. He has been absolutely dogshit and defended the board at every turn. He's one of them

The problem is as well, the board have shown they are very comfortable to allow things to get extremely toxic (Lennon not being sacked even months after he should)

 

Not his fault, he can’t put the ball in the net!!! We had enough chances 1st half to win 4 games. Palma is a show pony that doesn’t have the mentality to be here.

That Leicester relegation and failing to handle the pressure seems to have carried on in with us..

86 minutes to take Palma off. That alone sums Rodgers up.

No one will deny the last two windows have been abysmal, and the current squad isn't good enough.

But neither is Rodgers, his football is utterly chronic, and there's a very good chance we're 2/3 points behind the huns after Wednesday, as they'll win both their games in hand.

I don't have any ill will towards how he left originally anymore, but I don't think he's a very good manager anymore either.
