I guess the only thing confusing though is, say Rodgers has told the board that Lagerbielke & Tilio ect aren’t good enough, get rid basically, why take his word if you don’t get his input on transfers? I could be totally wrong, maybe he’s given a list of 5 and he picks the least * player but still doesn’t actually want him.

He did say he gets a final say but he does also talk a power of *

 

Mate, if Brendan Rodgers told me I had a hole in my * I'd have my head between my legs in front of a mirror as soon as I found myself alone. The thing to do with him is ignore his words and look at his actions. He's had Welsh ahead of Lagerbielke; Forrest ahead of Tilio and, at times, Yang; someone who isn't actually our player (Bernardo) ahead of Holm and Kwon. Literally the only actual signing he plays regularly is Palma (and Bernardo if you count loans).

It's clear he actually has very little say in our transfers.

He's on a five year deal so he'll likely be back in the summer.

 

Another example of how incredibly * and embarrassing our transfer strategy was in the summer.

9 players signed and we have already actively punted 2 of them, with the third one pushing for a move to Italy. A third of our transfers out the door within 6 months.

 

Because we'd have lost 2.3 million probably.

Seriously we paid 1.8m for him!!

 

Pointless loan. Surely someone in the SPFL or English Championship would have took a chance on him for a few months. Unless of course we just want him off the books.

Looks like he'll be back in Australia after the loan ends, for however much we can recoup.

 

Wouldnt count him out just yet just look at rogic his career with us started the same way …especially if theirs a change of manager which I can see happening tbh

Why would they, he's obviously miles off it. Also possibly away til the end of February. City group saw us coming with this one.

What a * shambles this club is.

A waste of his time and our money. We'll be lucky to get back a third of what we paid. No doubt we'll have some Australian EPL a**e-licker in the press shortly sneering how Tilio picked the wrong club/league/both as happened with Arzani. Sadly, this time they'll be right.

 

He's also then away again at end of April for Olympics.

Be lucky if he plays 5 games for Melbourne

 

Olympics isn't until July is it?
