Would be better than most of the clowns being linked with the job.

If it weren’t to be Carsley, Lenny is the best option on that list. Without having any knowledge whatsoever of what Robbie Keane would be like.

It’s a grim list in itself tbh, Ireland are in a bad way just now both in terms of the squad and the coaching staff. That’s with a potential world class striker on their hands as well, the one thing Scotland could really be doing with.

Listening to his interviews not abit of wonder we are *. I bet the players going onto the field where confused because by *, have a listen to his last few interviews and you'll see what I mean. I hadn't a * clue what he was on about. Talking in riddles and not knowing what to say next. Plus he was going to burst out crying during them. Definitely out of his depth!

Given that there are no international games until next March and no competitive games until next September I would not be expecting to see the FAI make an appointment any time soon. I would be shocked if things don't get pushed at last until late January or later. Hey its a chance for the FAI to save some money with not having a coach and coaching staff to pay for a few months at least!

I've got to imagine 100 year olds really don't want reminded that they're 100. Especially with a framed shirt FFS :giggle1:

For what it's worth I think Neil Lennon would be a tremendous fit for Ireland.

Think Lennon would be better than Kenny but that’s not saying much.

Gavin Cummiskey (Irish Times) on Jake O'Brien : "His arrival in France is unique for Irish football. His performances at Lyon will encourage other players to swap English clubs for French, Belgian or Dutch teams."

    In Lyon, we're delighted!

Wasn't he one of the few bright spots during the early parts of the season, also its criminal that he still hasn't gotten a start for the senior Ireland team
