I still think he can have a role in the squad here just now, the role he has been given is not it though.

He should be a rest option to rotate in in low risk games, we should have been playing players like Vata who might have had a future here, as that stands now I see him being away and not signing anything with us so tahts another promising youth gone leaving us even less in the youth pipeline.

People rightly talk about our midfielders not finding Kyogo when he makes clever runs; but the same is sometimes true of Forrest. He's very tactically aware these days and for me, he definitely has a role to play in the squad. Annoying how one-footed he can be at times IMO, though.

I think he knows he's not in our first team plans going forward and Rodgers has probably spoken to him a good while ago, it's probably not a shock to him. Unless he's genuinely desperate for first team football, I'd be surprised if he goes permanently, still a year and a half on better money than he's likely to get eslewhere, if he's offered a decent level loan and he's still getting the same wages overall would make sense for him though, and us.
