The way he slithered his way back in when the fans were distracted by the success Ange brought is sickening.

I’ve obviously totally missed it so can someone educate me on what role Lawwell took after the covid season and what role he is in right now?

 

His role is to destroy what we have on the park by failing to recruit some quality that would take us to the next level while gathering all our ST money to share amongst the shysters on the board

 

He also charged the Pope for that shirt.

 

He's chairman of the board of directors. His role according to club website is the responsibility of legal and financial running of the club while deligating roles to others in terms of thr running of the club, ie the football department.

So essentially other than deligating tasks to Nicolson, mckay, filby etc he should have * all to do with footballing side of the business.

Unfortunately this is the same * who thought he could act as a defacto director of football and chief scout the last time he was here despite the fact he's nothing more than a fat accountant.

Peter Lawwell joined the club in 2003 and Celtic have not won a knock out tie in Europe since.

To add context to that, Celtic finished the 2002-2003 season in a major European final.

That is alarming

 

Unfortunately I think we will be stuck with Lawwell for years to come unless there is massive pressure from the support which will force him to resign.

Pressure from the Supporters worked with the Bernard Higgins fiasco and It can definitely work again.

Rodgers resignation at end of the season may be the catalyst for change we need, providing he comes out and calls them out.
