    Yes for outgoings and incomings.

    See Ajax and Benfica/Porto etc... their fans are happy to move guys on for huge fees, knowing they can use the money to improve significantly in other areas. It's almost celebrated.

    Us? We sell players for £25m and can barely replace them.

    So we were after Sydney Van Hooidonk, we have deemed him not good enough, hes now off to Norwich and were getting the guy they dont want, and were partly funding SVH for them in doing so.

    You honestly couldnt make this up.

    I'm not as against the signing as others are. I think it could work for him here. Norwich have never played attacking football in * years and he's still young. I think he could do well here.

    He was on the verge of joining Verona for a loan with option to buy of £5m though, Norwich had rejected a buy option of £3.5m on Monday. So * knows how it's got all the way up to £6.8m.

    Wouldn't have been against a buy option of £3m-£5m... especially if he performed well up here but £6.8m? He would have to have a Kyogo like half season up here and the likelihood is, he won't play up front all that much. He would be the 3rd most expensive transfer in our history, after Eddy and Julien.

    * crazy price, that.

    That bit with the price and the Verona interest makes me think it's bogus. Who would pay that kind of money for a guy with a bad scoring record? Surely if Norwich want to get shot of Idah, they'd settle for a small fee?
