If he's offered the Liverpool job he'd take it imo. Said himself he followed them as a youngster and they are at this point a much bigger club than Spurs in terms of history and stature - along with all the other benefits of being a big 6 EPL side.

I would say your right he would take it for the reasons you list there. That would be consistent with how he has gone about his career path as well.

I don't think he will be offered the Liverpool gig, think they will look to appoint someone with a view to the long term.

New part owners, a guy who can build teams from nothing. Play the best football witnessed for decades all at a team that will easily * £300m+ to allow a rebuild in the summer (due to New investment)

He'd be perfect. However we all know utd are a * disgrace and ran like * so more chance of morinho going back :56:

Nah me neither, think it's convenient timing with Alonso smashing it in Germany.

Just didn't think Ange would turn it down if he was offered (if Xabi does an Eddie Howe like)

All becoming so clear now. Couldn’t get away quick enough and who can blame him in hindsight.

It's probably not be the worst idea from Liverpool's perspective. Klopp's going to be a big void to fill and often when somebody of that stature leaves, it proves to be tough for the new guy (like when Ferguson and Wenger left)

Alonso might be great but he's also very inexperienced. If they see him as a long-term option, maybe you get somebody like Ange in for a few seasons and let Alonso continue to develop, rather than risk him failing through lack of experience now.

Of course, there's also Levy to consider though. I don't think Tottenham have ever lost a manger to a rival club while he's been there and I doubt he'd let a manager who's clearly an asset leave easily.

What do you mean ''yet''? He's 58.

I think he'd be a perfect fit at Liverpool. Angeball is practically identical to Klopp's gegenpressing.

It's not to do with age. It's to do with his level of experience at the very top level. If Liverpool are recruiting to win the league and win the champions league, I think they will look for someone who has won top leagues and has held their own in later stages of champions league. Or an Alonso type, ex player with elite pedigree. There's a very small pool of super elite managers, or ex elite players with top manager experience and a tie to the club, and Ange isnt one of those.

2 points off second place I think?

I saw a stat comparing the number of points Ange has gained in his first 22 Premier League games compared to Pep, Klopp and Arteta and he's equal with Pep and way ahead of the other two. Some job he's doing.

I miss him sooo much. We were going to get married. We were going to be together forever. Lift that sacred cup again.

But all the time he was looking at someone else.

I hate him but I love him. I miss him.

Edit: Sorry. I think I lost it then.

His Tottenham team seem like they didn't get the "we never stop" message.
