I know people like him a lot but I've always felt he's far too slow for a good Celtic team, every single time the ball comes to him he takes so long to move it forward, or turn, or anything that isn't kicking with his right foot.

    Move him on.

I'm one of the guys who really likes him, always a goal threat but his lack of mobility I think means he's never gonna hit the heights with us so prolly best for him to go and get some gametime elsewhere and try build his career from there.

He's who I would have thought but I'm not convinced we could get that deal over the line before the end of the window.

    I've always liked him tbh.

His pace has become more and more evident though. But he has contributed with a lot of goals and assists whilst being critiqued harshly, very harshly tbh in many cases and i think its impacted him. Good luck to him.

Moving him on now puts additional pressure on the midfielders remaining as I'm assuming we aren't signing anyone else in there.

For all he is much maligned for being slow, as mentioned he could often pop up with something against a low block. We aren't exactly flush with goalscoring options heading into the second half of the season.

He’s a decent player but just not good enough for here anymore. Not mobile enough and can’t move the ball fast enough. He could be a really handy player somewhere else and it would be good to get rid him off the books.

I quite liked him but not developed I to what he could have been. I think his injury 6 months into Ange's first season curtailed any hope, he was pivotal in getting us up and running but ultimately not worked out for him. Did us a turn for about 6 months and time to move on

He was never the fastest, and he could at one point hide that with his play but he seems to have had a few too many injuries and they've taken it's toll and he can't hide that anymore. Still think he will continue to have a decent career in football and when he does leave I'll wish him all the best.

I get the talk about where he lacks and if we were pushing at the level we should be quality wise for midfielders Turnbull is at best a useful squad player. But we are not and with Hatate not around for these next few games it would be a big risk to let Turnbull go now. Reality is given his contract is up in the summer selling him now would only bring in a small fee so seems more sense to keep him and then he leaves in the summer when his contract ends.

Move him now and we will get a few quid for him and save 6 months wages.
Let’s be radical and employ a scout so we get players that will take the club forward instead of knobs signing players from you tube clips.

He could be decent but we've never really played in a way that suits him, he's a number 10 style attacking midfielder who plays behind a striker and should be freed up to hang around there recieving the ball and freed up front defending.

But Ange and Rodgers haven't used that position and he's just not suited to deeper wider centre-mid type role, not got the mobility for it and it doesn't get him close enough to the box.

Even though he has done ok under Ange and Rodgers as well, still contributed good numbers he mostly shoots now when he himself carries the ball from like the left area across the edge of the box and shoots, he's also less creative than he used to be from open play, under Lennon he used to get to hang around outside the box more and hit shots from passes to him, also used to play many through balls and wee flicks over the top to Edouard and stuff but cause the styles of play recently he is running about the corners of the box and having to run himself with the ball before passing or shooting.

He's near useless to us under Rodgers I feel like, although Ange's style didn't suit him either under Ange most of the work was done by the ball being moved around and positioning of guys and movement, freeing guys up to move around and pick it up in better areas in space.

Under Rodgers most of the work is done by players on the ball having to beat men and make difficult passes in tight areas to get any space anywhere which he's not got it in him.
