Di Marzio reported it. He’s basically as ITK with Italian clubs as anyone

He's done well to "pickup" on the rumours........ (one for the guitar players....)

Utterly bizarre situation to me, even if the manager doesn’t like particular attributes that he has or doesn’t have he’s got excellent pedigree. He hasn’t looked bad either, it’s not as if he came in and had a Shane Duffy or Nat Phillips honker.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see him in the EPL within a season or 2 and every Celtic fan going bananas that he never got a proper opportunity.

He has looked pretty pish in all honesty. Poor on the ball and was rash in getting sent off in Feyenoord as well. His performance at Ibrox got glossed over due to the result also.

Scored the winner in the Champions League, had plenty solid minutes and has excellent pedigree as Swedish defender of the year and recently capped. Also very young for a centre half.

Easy just to pick out the negatives without balance.

Where was his solid minutes? What game/s in particular? The winner in the CL is really the only thing of note he done well for us in my opinion.

He and Scales got clean sheets at the midden and the Spaghettihad after being cobbled together during an injury crisis when we needed both to step up and fast, 2 of the hardest grounds in the league for our centre halves.

    He certainly hasn’t looked pish.

Think he's been fine. Glaring issue is he's slow as a week in the jail, which means he should never have been signed in the first place.

He was poor at Ibrox. On another day his terrible distribution costs us. I lost count the amount of times he gave it away second half, mostly in dangerous areas. Scales was outstanding that day. Pretty sure both he and Nawrocki didn’t cover themselves in glory in the cup defeat at Killie either, then you have the red card in Rotterdam. For very limited playing time, that’s no great reading. The fact he has had very little game time even though we have had injuries a plenty at centre half this season tells its own story.

His distribution is excellent, he’s just not had enough time to showcase it. If you said his pace you’d have had an argument because there’s no getting away from how slow he is on the run.

Either way he didn’t get a proper chance and we could end up rueing it, I personally think we will from what I’ve seen from him thus far.

I’ve no seen that at all from him. The complete opposite in fact. He is extremely slow as well agreed. I don’t think we will rue it because he wasn’t right for us anyway. He isn’t the right fit for the way we play.

Have you seen his highlights from last season? His passing is absolutely ridiculous for a centre half, all ranges.

Basing it on what I’ve seen for Celtic in all honesty. As I said, I think it’s speaks volumes that he has barely featured given the amount of injuries we’ve had. Which begs the question whether Rodgers actually wanted him.

I don't think we will regret it, unless we let him go fairly cheaply and he goes for big money in a few years.

From a playing side it doesn't matter how good he turns out to be, we will always be a team who plays with a high line and he's never gonna be suited for that.

He's one of a few examples recently of someone who's been scouted on his ability but not his ability to play in our team.

He’s been written off way too early and nobody will convince me otherwise. A Swedish poty and full international. Looked good positionally for me. More than a few times in the games I watched him in he covered well in certain areas. Mental we’ve signed him and want yo punt him inside a year. * crazy
