‘Can we have your shirt?’ signs at football matches, get yourself to *.

Players should go out of their way to ensure these * get * all.

Even if it’s weans just give them the finger and laugh at them as you walk off the pitch after having handed it to someone else in the crowd more dignified and deserving.

A bit harsh, it's the parents fault for letting them bring the signs rather than the kids.

Yeah, and I've seen more than a few of them (one in particular that a little girl about 6years old was holding) that were obviously created by the parent (or other *).

I seem to remember some clubs actually talking about banning them ? Not sure if I'm misremembering that or if it's wishful thinking on my part, but it's became a bit of an epidemic now and really should be stopped. I know people will say "ach it's just kids" or "there's more important things to get annoyed about than young fans holding up a bit of cardboard" etc....... but it's become crass, it's like begging with some of them, there was a series of photos of one kid and the parent, can't remember the club, but there's photos of them at something like 3 different games and the kid is holding signs declaring how he would LOVE to have the shirt of his favourite and bestest player in the whole world etc, and it's a different player he's appealing to each time ........ Looked more like a parent exploiting/ whoring their kid in order to get a merchandise to sell on eBay, than the genuine work of the poor kid.

I have no doubt some of them to sell the shirts that their kids get.

I actually think it's unfair on the players, it's guilt tripping almost. I'd imagine players wanting to keep mementos such as shirts, boots or gloves from big matches.

When Pep gives one of his players a tactical lesson on the pitch after a game to make sure the cameras catch it.

When you go to the shops and ask your missus if she wants anything and she says aye get me a can of coke. You come back with a can of coke and she starts off on one moaning about how she doesn’t drink coke and have you ever seen me drinking coke. And then I say have you ever noticed me paying attention to anything you say or do and she takes a berky at that as well. I mean honestly you cannae win because guaranteed if I’d come back with a diet coke she would’ve went ape saying she wanted a coke!!!!
