Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
Xavi stepping down as manager of Barca which is a shame as they obviously won the league last season whilst playing nice football

Agree. The * get penalties nearly every game and if they are losing or drawing it’s 10 or 12 added mins.

Looks like Real have it wrapped up now.

My team is Real but would have loved Girona to do it.

Can’t believe how good this real team are starting to look. If they end up with mbappe everyone can say goodbye to any champions leagues for the next 5 years

Can understand why. I’ve always been only Celtic. But as a boy remember being on holiday in Spain, brother wanted barca and I wanted Madrid and from then I’ve always had an affection for them.

sure that’s the same for most kids around the world, mbappe and Haaland being two who are just lucky enough to get the chance

Real Madrid and their mission to build a new young dominant squad is * frightening.

Davies now on his way, behind Mbappe with Vinicius Jnr, Rodrygo, Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouaméni already there.

Ridiculous modern day squad. Utterly ridiculous.

Football is completed after that. Add to that squad a quality manager in ancelotti….wonder if he’ll stay

Athletic Bilbao absolutely hammering Atletico in the Copa semi final. They haven't won a Copa del Rey since 1984... Good luck to los leones.

Atletico Madrid with Griezmann in comparison to without him is such a drop in quality. They have a load of other class players but when he’s not there knitting it all together they look lost.

Mad how even guys at that level struggle when you take the guy a cut above away, because man for man all they players are still elite, but Griezmann is world class. Probably only him and Oblak are that in that Madrid team. The rest are just very, very good

That griezmann goal against Real Madrid a few weeks Back was unbelievable, to manage that out of nothing all alone. Incredible

Always enjoyed bilbao as a club, still mad they only really play players from that region too. Some amount of quality developed

El Classico died when Ronaldo and Messi left. I’m sure it will still be a big deal to the sets of fans obviously but can’t be anywhere near the same numbers globally tuning in. Doesn’t look like a derby anymore just looks like your usual run of the mill league fixture.

It’s probably unfair to judge that era. Both teams were off the scale good. And arguably the best ever. From 08/09 to 17/18 they had 7 champions league wins between them.

The matches were always incredible to watch for about 5-6years.
