Celtic park pitch

It’s a disgrace. I’d go as far as to call it embarrassing given our size and stature.

 

A club that prides itself on trying to play football on the ground and the pitch is disgusting, looks like a play park, yet again the biscuit tin mentality of Celtic shows through.
It is * embarrassing.

 

We're that * it probably helps us..

 

Aye, didn't we rip it up and put in a hybrid mix of artificial and grass.. not long ago.

 

I appreciate that the weathers been pretty * however, our pitch is a disgrace and, if other teams can keep their pitches in a reasonably good state, why can't we - or have cut back the spending on that as well ?

 

It's worth stating that it has been a disaster since Rodgers requested it in his first stint here...

 

Gutted from top to bottom, new drainage and undersoil heating, the lot, even with our weather we should be able to maintain a surface better than anyone, it's mad that it's looking so *.

 

The pitch has been an embarrassment for years now.

Yet another example of how tinpot this club is being run.

 

I always remember playing in Dundee over the years and thinking it looked like a carpet compared to ours.

And if a club with their budget can do we certainly can. Weather isn’t a good excuse when you have the resources that we do.

 

Disco lights and a Sunday league pitch.

 

Pitch looked like a ploughed field. Absolutely embarrassing and inexcusable.

No doubt a Lawwell heading up our groundskeeping staff as well.

 

It's a * disgrace. Either Bernardo, O'Riley, Palma and Kyogo have all completely lost their first touch and technique or the pitch is having a serious effect on our play.

 

Is there anything we can do for it now like during the season or will we have to wait until the seasons over and relay it? It’s been * poor the last couple of months I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen it this bad tbh

 

We could always hire the Motherwell groundstaff, they've turned that pitch into one of the best in the country.

 

Another department failing at the club

Board, recruitment, management, players, youth academy, GK coach, ground staff...

The list goes on

 

We'll ring fence millions to get it sorted it will be like a new signing

 

Aye they have done an incredible job. That was like a beach at one time, now it probably is the best in Scotland.

 

Outwith the plastic pitches it’s probably the worst surface in the league which is utterly embarrassing. Cut up like a Sunday league council park today.

 

Can we no ship it to Turkey for a transplant?

 

Weren’t the disco lights supposed part of a UEFA requirement for the stadium to be lit much better? Sure I read somewhere they complained it looked too dark on TV.

The pitch is in a horrible state at the moment though.
