Player Suggestions

Does every * just know all these players cause they play Fifa constantly?

I have never heard of most of these players yet folk on here make out that they know them as if they go to watch them every week.

Im convinced people are just playing Fifa or Champ Manager (if thats still a thing), studying and memorizing the player stats..... and then they make out like they have a vast pool of knowledge about all these players that normal * have never heard of before in their life

I watch a lot of the Eliteserian and SuperLiga. Excellent games. Also some of the Eredivisie and Jupiter League

Usually watch the bigger teams, though.

Copenhagen, Midtjylland, Brondby, Njordaelland from SuperLiga.

Then Rosenberg, Bodo and Molde from the Eliteserian.

 

To be fair there’s a few in here that could do a better job than our “scouting department” whilst still going about their normal day-to-day lives.

I'm Norwegian and watch Eliteserien every weekend. I also watch alot of Allsvenskan and Superligaen when the big games is on.

 

David Colina 23 year old Croatian LB not really a Suggestion as he’s just departed Augsburg For Danish Side Velje. But from what I’ve seen YouTube etc I know, I think he could have done a job here Loves Bombing up the Touchline and could have possibly got him for Peanuts. Last Croatian full back didn’t do so Bad.

 

How dare you not mention AGF!

 

I know a lot of Scandinavian players as I live in Denmark and my 2nd team is AGF, whose home games I go

 

I’m not Scandinavian, sometimes I watch a Qualifier or U21 game, where a player stands out and then I think they’re amazing and champion their cause on here, like I’ve scouted * out of them from watching a game, some youtube highlights and stats on TransferMarkt

 

Don’t play FIFA and if it was players from when I played Champ Manager, Mark Kerr, Kim Kallstrom and To Madeira would be my shouts and two of them are long retired and one didn’t exist.

Just follow a lot of football, don’t get to watch as much as I would like but listen to a lot of podcasts covering all sorts of leagues and if I like the sound of a player take a closer look through watching some games they have played in, highlights reels and a nosey at stats on Fotmob and the likes.

Mainly started it during COVID and because I can’t really stand what the EPL has become and La liga and Serie A aren’t what they were. So pay more attention to teams from other leagues.

 

Nuno taveres back at arsenal , left back and still only 23 , would be better than Taylor

 

He's signing for Marseiile for £8m apparently.

 

A player we were linked with under Lennon a few years ago. Mitchell Bakker. Left back who came through the Ajax youth academy before moving to PSG. Moved to Atalanta from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer for £8m but it hasn't worked out for him. Only started like 15% of their games this season. Most of his appearances have came from the bench.

Really liked him. Only 23 as well so still plenty of time to develop and he's been at some big clubs(PSG, Leverkusen, Atalanta)

He's big, strong, quick and good on the ball. Would probably be able to get him for cheaper than the £8m they paid for him.

 

Someone I am glad Rangers didn’t get, Morgan Whittaker at Plymouth has been scoring for fun, 15 goals and 6 assists in 28 games mainly of the right wing or as an attacking midfielder. Can play off either wing or as a centre forward is around 6 foot,
Strong athletic build, great pace and good close control when dribbling.

I just wonder with going to a club like Plymouth if he may have a release clause they only paid just over £1m for him. Just turned 23 too. Someone like that would be a good option for us particularly if we lost Abada, as he could provide an option right across the front three, possibly even as an 8/10 in the centre of the park.

Haha this is a guy I was really wanting, and promptly wiped out of my mind when it wasn’t an option.

 

There’s a good bit of that, took me years after stopping playing Football Manager that I had a lot of knowledge about players from that rather than real football. But there’s a lot on here that watch every bit of football they can.

I was one of them up until 5 years or so ago, would watch every league any game going, u21 internationals I * loved.

Not got the same passion for it anymore but probably watch an above average amount still.

 

Not that I remember, Beale chased him last January he had been doing well on loan at Plymouth but they wouldn’t pay what Swansea wanted to sell him. He stayed at Swansea then they sold him to Plymouth for £1m in the summer and he has been tearing the championship up since.

Likely they would put a massive inflated price on his head now unless as I say he has a release clause in his contract of sorts.

 

You also suggested Morelos
