Including Connel, that’s what, 3 in 8 years?

it feels like we’re in that market a lot more for some reason

we all know the reason the prices down there are ridiculous for footballers who aren’t top level look at the prices in there for teams paying for players that’s the reason

It’s a bit of a mixed market that, for those that have caught Sky’s attention and the hype, and at one of the more popular teams in that division. Aye Sky high, not worth it. But there’s guys plugging away with quality, at not so well publicised clubs, not hyped up that you can get for rather ordinary prices.

And the cross border thing that we’ve exploited before can have a real advantage for us - we got Ledley, Matthews and Moussa for compensation levels of around £1.5m all in. Moussa and Ledley came with big, big wages comparatively but that got us quality.

But aye, not a market I’d exclusively be looking to shop in, but I want us to really know that market just incase the right option comes up. I think we do that, and do it with League 1 as well especially. Just with the Toney attempt and at signing Matt O’Riley

Another goal tonight, albeit against Clyde.

We shouldnt turn our noses up at him and if the price is right this is a move we should seriously be considering.

If any clubs in Scotland were making a move he wouldn't have played tonight.

Not necessarily true. We signed Stuart Armstrong and GMS at the death of the January window when both were already cup tied.

We need a striker this window. If Kyogo gets injured we are back to being in a grave situation.

We need to bring in a striker with a proven track record of goals. Miovski has continued his goalscoring form and has 18 in all competitions currently. I think only one of them has been a penalty. He shouldnt be ignored.

He is young enough that he has sell on value, and he is a proven goal scorer in the SPFL playing for a really * team. Given it is very unlikely we are spending money to replace Kyogo I think Miovski would be a good bit of business. There will definitely be games this season where we will need a plan B- either going 2 up front or bringing some fire power off the bench. And I'd rather know the guy we are bringing in can score plenty in our league than another punt on a prospect from a foreign league.

Apparently, he is going to push through for a move, not sure if there is any other genuine interest.

If Aberdeen wanted to persaude a few more months out of him, and also wanted to play their best player, he absolutely would.

if he wants the move to us, how likely would he think the possibility of him starting infront of Kyogo in a cup final or something would be? It wouldn’t matter much.

Can’t see it though, Aberdeen will demand decent money and quite rightly, we won’t want to spend £4m odd on someone to fight for second choice striker

Don't think he's the finished article but is 10 x superior to Oh

He’d be doing exceptionally well to much Oh’s goal to gametime, last I seen it start of December it was the best since the stats started being tracked 2002 odds. 1 ever 73 minutes or so, but I’ll concede it might be 78. Any striker we get who isn’t head and shoulders above Kyogo need to impress with 15 mins every couple of games. GG couldn’t do it, he proved it 2nd half of a season Kyogo was out. Then got dropped immediately when he was back.

If I was a guy who wasn’t the finished article, that wouldn’t be somewhere I’d fancy to develop at. At Oh’s age coming in, aye definitely for a bit, but Miovski whos an international with a £5m odd pricetag and options? Never mind we wouldn’t pay more than we did for Kyogo for his backup, why would he want that? Outside a fuckload of money, we wouldn’t do that either GG * off because of wanting £20k odd, that we apparently verbally said he’d get if he done well, at least alluded to it, but offered just a raise and saying that was the offer we said.

The way we do business is *

Wouldn't be against signing him. Let them have Oh on loan for the rest of the season to get game time and use Vata as the 3rd striking option assuming he signs a new deal. Maeda also an option of needs must.

Not an improvement on Oh for me, has more spl experience yes but that should come to Oh hopefully. Both not good enough for Europe imo and that's what we should be looking at.

Except even if we wanted Miovski to be Oh's replacement, Miovski would refuse to come. At the moment, he is not good enough to be a starting striker, which is what he wants to be.

He has scored two goals for North Macedonia. One against Fareo Islands in a friendly and the other against Gibraltar.

He a decent player, but let's not hype things up too much.
