Don't worry chaps I'm no that bad lol.

I'd be more worried if we had a tougher game on Saturday, but it's Ross County at home. Still believe we're trying to bag a left back so that would cover us till GT is back, and obviously Frame is there aswell.

For the record, I want Berna out the door.

Rumour is Frame's injured I thought. Wasn't in the first team or Colts squads the last few weeks.

Didn't realise that. Still looking for him to be utilised this season when he's back.

We'll manage on Saturday regardless, just hope whatever left back comes in is fit and ready to go.

That'll be Pep's former teaboy on the phone looking for a loan from the youth team now. Quality

If Taylor is injured then it is imperative that we bring in left back asap.

He scored yesterday against Southampton U21’s.

He’ll get more out of that and coming in and out of first team training than sitting on our bench, and not playing at all, outwith 5 mins here and there.

    Arteta?

I’d be going to Ange and asking if Ryan Sessegnon can come on loan personally, whilst buying Beck and loaning him to Dundee again

So he's not injured? Surely he starts Saturday then? I don't see how Berna can start as it seems he's out of favour with Rodgers. Don't think he's even mentioned him once in months has he?

To your point about getting more out of playing games like that, I agree in a way. Fitness wise and building his game definitely. But even being involved with the first team is another level, and Saturday would be a perfect opportunity for him to gain some experience with the big boys. Doesn't mean he can't still play with the unders.

I don’t know if it’s if they play or if it’s just being named in the squad/bench but there’s a rule that after 5 either appearances or named as a senior player, they can no longer play for the Colt team.

Which is * bullshit. If it’s guys over 20/21 I’d agree, but no a 17 year old like Frame because rather than 6 10/15 minutes off the bench when the squad was stretched last month or so, we’d not let the young guy do that, because then he won’t play again till next season.

    Is Taylor out?

If he is I’d put money on it being Nawrocki, Welsh and Scales at LB

Vata and Kelly didn’t play, Vata definitely anyway, 90% sure of Kelly. Which is the guys that are more likely to be in the squad for Saturday rather than Frame.

I’d think Berna would start if not for the fact last days of January when we’ve been publicly trying to punt him. Saying that he put him on for Palma as a saviour against Hearts, couple weeks earlier trusted Ralston at LB over him. So * knows.

Aye out for a few weeks, Notorious posted a quote on the last page from Rodgers confirming it.

You're probably right, but I'd rather see Frame get the nod. Obviously Nawrocki needs games aswell but I don't want Scales moved or dropped whatsoever. Not really sure how Rodgers will play it tbh.

Honestly 3/4 weeks out at this point of the season might be a blessing, and force us into doing something about it ffs:56:

We can’t move Scales out of CB for that length of time for me, he’s been the one guy at the back holding everything together this season. First choice CB right now, considering CCV’s injuries, not a backup LB.

If Frame is fit then he has to start.

Moving Ralston or Scales there would be farcical and only highlights the lack of any pathway for academy player.

Very true. I mean I've no doubt we're trying for a LB but this has surely focused minds a bit now :giggle1:

100% on Scales, am aware of the chat about him having a ceiling/being OK for now etc, but I don't go along with that. I see see a young guy (young for a defender) who is growing all the time and is absolutely vital for us on the park. Our best, most consistent defender this season by far and no way should he be sacrificed for any *.

You just knew he was going to get an injury.

Beyond scandalous not bringing another LB in, still time to change that, but it's rapidly running out.

Play a back 3 or move scales out LB highlights our * recruitment even more lack of cover at LB it’s a shambles

    To happen this weekend?

    Probably Ralston moved to LB.
