    With this Cold Spell by Bird Feeders are doing overtime and more, fat balls and peanuts galore. The House Sparrow colony in my garden are more than happy with this as her the local blue *, dunnocks and Robins.

    I put out some cake on the lawn this morning and within 30 seconds of putting it on the lawn several Blackbirds were soon feasting, a few minutes later a Wood Pigeon and Magpie were on the scene.

    Do not forget it is the Big Garden Birdwatch 26-28th this month

    PS I have also been putting the odd apple on my lawn, the Thrush species love these among others.

    Also i put last of a left over cake out on the lawn, 2 male and 1 female Blackbirds really enjoyed as did the House Sparrows:57:

    I spent a couple of hours at Kellystown yesterday and had the pleasure of watching this juvenile White tailed Eagle soaring high above the panicking and distress calling Brent Geese.
