I'm flying out at 3pm on match day with Ryanair - don't land until 5.05pm, so going to grab a taxi and hopefully be at the stadium for after 6. Flying back on Thursday afternoon.

Have no idea :84: I'm flying on my own so didn't want to book a hotel somewhere in Valencia when I might fall in with lads who are staying miles away. I think the plan is party all night tuesday then look for hotel on Wednesday morning close to where abouts everyone else is staying.

In a random act of generosity I donated my tricolour to a drunken dude in Barcelona. Feel under supplied now just going with a celtic top and no green white and orange cape flowing behind it :54:

Lads, I touch down at 5.10pm in Valencia airport tomorrow, anyone else think it's better just to get a taxi to the train station, then a train to Villareal?

Hi ,are you crazy man?If you take a taxi from airport to stadium, you will have to pay a lot of money, about 100 euros.Taxidrivers are very smart and they get advantage in this days, cause people coming from other countries don't know the citys. They probably say to you that the stadium of vila-real is close to Valencia, but don't believ him.You can take the underground at the airport,to the city centre. You get off at the stopp called Xativa, and ther is the train station. It's so easy, you can ask to the people at the airport to know where you can take the underground if you don't find it.See you all tomorrow in Vila-real

I know what your saying that we will get screwed - taxi drivers seem to screw people the world over. I've now found a buddy who is flying with me, if we can grab 2 other Celtic supporters then that will be 25 euro each to get to the stadium and it will give us a good extra hour of time to get my ticket, then get to the pub

Yes,that's the expression, screw you,I didn't find the word in my last post, cause i don' know all the words in englsh:icon_mrgreen:
    Even if you are 4 people,I think it's to expensive,but well,it's your money,jeje.
The train will cost you about 6 euros, and you will expend the same time travelling by car and by train. But well mate,it's your choice.Anyway, hope to see yo at the party and have some beers before the game.

It's not that, my plane doesn't land till 5.10pm if it is on time. The match starts at 8.45pm

I have around 3.5 hours to get from the airport to the stadium, get my ticket, meet up with the other bhoys and have a few drinks.

If I get the bus to Valencia train station then wait on the next train it could add an hour to the journey vs getting the taxi alone. If it works out about 15 euro difference each then we might as well pay it for the convenience.

Ok,I thought you arrived before to Valencia. So probably the fastest option is take a taxi from the airport to Vila-real.Good luck and have a nice trip, mate!
