Whoever put the video to this song did a great job...I'm thinking of enlisting now!

By the way, dropping vids here seems to negate the YouTube ads so noice!

True story..I was coming home from Dublin on the ferry all on my own..I bought a pint and saw a couple of Irish lads about the same age as me drinking, so I asked if I could join them..and them being Irish were like no worries...Anyway turns out they were going to Donington 1991... and their mate had dropped out..so they had a spare ticket.. £20 all in with bus fare from London return the next day..so after about 6 pints..I said I'd take it..and with an eff off hangover the next morning..I made some obscure central London train station at 0600 or something...gave them the £20 and we were away!

Mötley Crüe and Queensrÿche were great that day!

Operation Mindcrime is a great album!

Not sure mate. First came by it on a thread on here. Not this one. Possibly battle of bands or champions league of bands or something like that. Checked out more of their music and some really good stuff. Above the clouds of pompei and red earth and pouring rain are also amazing

Probably my most favourite song of all time, love Jimi Hendrix version also but BD man what a song writer

Hendrix version is like double legendary, beautiful words. I interpret it as a rich * who has fallen from grace and is now one of the proletariat and needing to "slum" it

Cradock was right hand man for both during the pinnacle of Weller OCS. The common denominator in both their success in the era.

OCS owe a lot to Weller for making it, hence this song which I'm sure was written for him, memory fades so could be wrong. What a * album though

Craddock is easily one of the most underrated gutarist of the 90's if not longer, sensational

I'm certain Foxy's was one of the first songs Simon wrote. As a 16 year old I'm sure.

His nickname was Foxy and he was Folk faced one night.

    Foxy's Folk Faced (* Faced) :giggle1:
