I’ve re-typed this and thought about it - and thought about it,but seriously - parsnips.Don’t want to be sexist or that but by and large women are better off not being left in charge of the kitchen.

I’m not picking on anyone either,men who can’t or won’t cook should just * themselves off of a mountain.Men are more competent in the kitchen imo,all the best chefs are men.Leave your Mary Berry’s and Nadiya’s to the cakes and daft sweets that no * cares about.

 

Think its the met office that gives the name,but agree with your point.Giving names just makes it feel like theres a storm every second day where as begore they had names they just passed by with hardly a mention.

Yeah, I get all that....... I only really buy lager, and as long as the cans are nice and cold I'm happy because I seldom take them home. If I take 8 cans out the fridge in the shop, then rest assured....... that's pretty much guaranteed to be the last time those babies will ever see the inside of a * fridge !! I'm drinking those cans toot sweet and no mistake . ........


......that's pretty much the extent of my shopping, unless I buy wine....
But I trust my missus with that.

Back to your original point.......

I like parsnips, it's as simple as that, and I'm prepared to defend them to the death ! Its the name I particularly like...roles off the tongue.....i'm not a particular fan of their taste and don't really eat them. although they can be prepared in a multitude of different ways, some of which I'm sure are delicious......... I'm just not that fond of eating the things. You however....... Seem like a totally unreasonable parsnip hating bigot !!! So with that good sir...... I'll bid you goodnight.
