Never new that with Pierre saying there was nothing in the summer links, the talk around this one feels like it wasn’t just press speculation, I don’t know how to explain the difference but you get a feel about ones that shout bullshit and ones that don’t. Pierre saying that though, either we didn’t get as far down the line with this as we thought or it’s media speculation purely i.e. made up.


I’m keen for this one so hope not.

 

Paul John Dykes interviewed him recently and said that he'd asked Pierre about it off camera and he said that there had been no contact at all.

I try so much these days to ignore all the talk because so often it’s all just made up stuff to sell stories but some still draw me in, this is one

 

The guy who runs ACSOM, also might know him as author of a few Celtic books. I tend to believe him on this one, would be weird to make up.

 

Feels like something to ask on camera as well. It would be weird to make up but I think that with everybody who does it. For a guy like him to do it though, it’d be daft, nobody would believe anything ever said again.

Stephen McGowan reported on this one though didn’t he? Tends to be the only person in the media I’ll take it as close to 100% fact when it comes to us, he’s the one we feed info in the media, and if he stepped out of line while reporting on it the info would dry up, like it has to guys before him that the club used as the guy to tell stuff to in the media.


Both could be true right enough, just shows how weird transfers can be, they’re more complicated than fans guess or fully acknowledge even when we’re aware thats the case

Makes sense if there was genuine interest from us but I’m not convinced there is.

It’s such an easy deal to make, in reality. Motta wants him gone. He would definitely come here too.

Think it’s just a media outlet picking up on the apparent interest from hs in SVH and putting 2 and 2 together.

 

Probably not new though, more likely someone that's already been binned half a dozen times.

 

Imo he'd be a better option than the Danish boy.

 

He's the striker I want as well. Think he would be a great signing for us, based on nothing but a 3 min video and gut instinct.

 

Hopefully with Bologna after Vata there could be some discussions about SVH coming the other way.

 

Really makes you wonder with Vata, he looked good in the game time he got albeit not close to the finished article the just got chucked back down to reserves. Forrest & Bologna obviously see potential in him.

Would be happy to get SVH though, think he’d make an impact here.

 

He refused to sign a contract made it clear he didn’t want to be here and his old boys a massive agent who’s been tarting him about every contact he has in Europe

 

If he can bend a free kick round a wall of 8 like his da then I’m interested.
